Dude just keep at it its just like a 3x3 except for the last edge orientations It not annoying for me anymore because I own a fisher cube it the literal 3x3 version of the windmill and solve many time (now I miss ignorance)

Top cross: match up sides to centre, flip centres (turn white layer, twist front layer accordingly) for last centre put that front face facing you, then do (F’ L’ F L F) as many times as needed. ( 3:12 ) Put in corners. This bit was a little bit confusing for me since there was no algorithm but hopefully this helps if anyone was stuck here too! Amazing video, very helpful as well thank you

You can also sove the last edges the same as you would for the basic method of a three by three.

This is a good guide, but I will say that once you have layer one flipping the whole cube upside down so yellow is on top makes it way, way easier, and on the last layer corner orientation you can just sexy move it

For 3 layer you can just do 3by3 corners, r u rp up and so on until they are in places

When u have three corners to get to the right colors, hold the correct one at the bottom corner and just repeat the algorithm

Thank you so much, I still didn't get it because I clearly blanked out somewhere in Yellow (I already had everything else figured out, so I came here for yellow), but I'll come back to this. My brain doesn't pay attention on yellow for some reason lol Edit: I just went back while even MORE tired, found but barely understood the move that I missed, did it, almost gave up, tried one last time and accidentally solved it... A little more tinkering and sleep and I'll definitely get it properly. I've muscle memorized the new moves so it's only a matter of time.

My middle layer had all the middle pieces, just in the wrong spot. No one tells you how to change them out, just how to get them out of bottom layer...or did I miss something?

good for first 2 layers but you have only addressed your situations which leaves people who have scrambled their cube well in the dark in the last layer, i've tried rescrambling it 3 times now to get your case and i haven't got it once so please explain ALL cases and not just yours

Thanks for the tutorial so much but one suggestion for the last step I don't think that its mandatory to have such a long step when you can easily just use the normal 3 by 3 Rubik cube algorithm to solve the yellow cross corners.

My windmill cube is exactly like yours, but everytime I get to the yellow layer it has two corners swapped, example: all the edges and two corners are fine but the other two corners are swapped. I can easely make a clasic 3x3 rubik cube, but Im having troubles with this one.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! IT TOOK ME FOR EVERRRRRRRRRRR, to solve it.... had to watch it on 0.25 speed starting from the yellow side... took me 4 hours + dear lord... it was always mirrored in colours and i was somehow always getting is wrong, and starting all over again a couple of times...
