I think that Shota is going to be fine. If the wind is blowing out, he'll adjust to that. I think that he's a smart pitcher and was pitching to the conditions last season. Plus, if the wind is blowing out, it'll be blowing out for our hitters as well . I believe that Shota will be fine.

Sammy was surely exciting when he played. I don’t like some things about him from the past, but forgive and forget. The Cubs story can’t be told without Sosa. I’m glad he’s back.

1000000000% agree. This organization is better today because it mended its fences with Sammy Sosa.

Keep up the work homie! Smooth voice and good talking points. Pleasure to listen to while at work :) Question: Wouldn’t going after two (more) upper end starters push us to the 1st luxury tax threshold? If we have roughly 45 M, I’m not sure we could afford two starters and still fix 3B, C, & Bullpen. Thoughts?

Potentially…but Sasaki coming over as an international player under a certain age he can only sign for so much. That’s why virtually EVERY team is in on him right now. But it really depends on what u can get Corbin for

Most people are saying that but they always show out. They are like the blue collar team of the MLB

Yep, Corbin's market wasn't what they wanted in the 300-400mil range. Jed always jumps in with the 180 and opt outs 😂. This could be the Lester type move tho.

I love Shota…he was dynamic last year. My fear is that my cubs family might be let down if he doesn’t duplicate that this season

I don’t agree about Shota. He pitched for a mediocre team, and did quite well. I’d worry more about Burns with his injury record. Why do you think he hasn’t been signed yet? We all hope for Sasaki, but I’d like to see them get Luis Castillo.
@ChiCubsCentral5 күн бұрын
Castillo is definitely on the wishlist but the trade ask might be steep. How many prospects you willing to give up? And which ones?

The cubs need to focus on adding a left handed arm in the bullpen, someone like minter
@ChiCubsCentral4 күн бұрын
Minter would be a huge pick up! Solidify that bullpen for sure

I'd much rather get Roki Sasaki. I worry about Corbin Burne's health.

Bad take on Burnes feel like if he comes in and ace over Steele Steele won’t like that
@ChiCubsCentral4 күн бұрын
@@austyndodson3644 I would say being Cy Young winner and on a level where Justin Steele wants to be makes him the ace over Justin. Atleast for this season

Not happening on Burns he is going to sign with SF.. who they should go after is on Dylan Cease.. and get bullpen help
