I bought a Swiss Cuckoo clock from Switzerland (that requires winding after 24 hrs)two month ago and installed the same successfully at our home in India. But after some time , it needed some adjustments for accuracy of time and the music to sound on time ... These videos proved very useful and our clock is working fine now. Superb videos .

Excellent tutorial, clear and simple explanations. Our clock is in need of a voice vox repair, sounds like the bird is dying and with your tutorial it should be a simple job. Thanks!

Great video..... very clear explanations, presented beautifully. I have several cuckoo clocks that need bellow repairs. Prior to seeing your video, I presumed these had to be purchased, and my reluctance to do so has made me lose interest in their restoration. I'm so excited to know that I'll be able to make these clocks fully functional again. Thank you!

I would like to offer my advice about re-leathering (you used paper ...) that little below (called motor in organ building). You do it well but in a way that is like starting a house by the roof. I don't have a small pipe and below at hand but, so I cannot make a video right now. I would like to help. My advice would be to do a thing at a time. First you need to remove wires, screws, etc. from the board of the below. Measure the position for screws, wires, etc. before removing. U can even take pictures before doing anything else, in case you forget. Make a note about position, or perhaps you can make a little pencil mark, so you know where wires or screws go. Another handy advice is to mark positions of the boards, front, back, etc. Then Clean the sides of the bellows (the boards) using sand paper. Put sand paper on a flat surface or make a block where you glue the sand paper. That way you will have a nice an flat surface where to stick the leather. In an ideal world, you wouldn't use paper, but very thin leather (split leather). Once the sides of the boards are clean and flat The first thing you need to do is to fit a piece of fabric (or even leather) which would make the function of a hinge. Once the glue for the hinge is dry then you proceed to apply the leather all the way around, starting from the middle of the hinge, to finish overlapping where you started. Once the glue is dry you can cut edges with a sharp leather knife or even a scalpel. For a professional finish you can even use a sanding stick. I will post a video about how to re-leather little below when I have some time. I hope my advice is of help to anyone.
