In the last video, we discovered why the TH400 transmission on this 1985 CUCV 6.2l diesel Squarebody was stuck in first gear. Spoiler! It was the kickdown!

I actually didn't know that existed. Have you had any issues with the vacuum pump that also fakes out the engine vacuum going to the TH400? Mine (like most) is leaking and the transmission shop I use spent two days but somehow got the system to make the transmission behave.
