Update on Cuddalore Bypass of Villupuram - Nagapattinam four lane NH32/NH45A and other infrastructure works in Cuddalore
This stretch between Villupuram-Puducherry-Cuddalore is being done by Dilip Buildcon and work is happening at tremendous speed. It won't be surprising if this stretch gets completed before the Vikravandi-Sethiyathope stretch of NH45C/NH36.

Cuddalore and Puducherry has a single combined bypass. When we come from Chidambaram, the bypass starts near this location: Kadalur-Fish Market maps.app.goo.gl/G8Kq5H5X9HwcZaRY7?g_st=ic diverging leftwards from the Chidambaram - Cuddalore road. From there, it goes on approximately for 15.2KM to touch the Cuddalore Customs road near Thenpennai river. It furthers goes on towards Puducherry in the Western side of the Cuddalore - Puducherry road and ends near this location: Kandamangalam Oratchi Ondriyam maps.google.com?q=No.53,%20Kandamangalam%20Oratchi%20Ondriyam,%20Kandamangalam,%20Puducherry,%20Tamil%20Nadu%20605602&ftid=0x3a535f9466a84de3:0x39a3c9149970aaea&hl=en-IN&gl=in&entry=gps&g_st=ic at the Puducherry - Villupuram road. Totally the combined Cuddalore - Puducherry bypass is approximately 33.5 KM long.
