This reminds me of my cat when I had my wisdom teeth out (it was a disaster, something happened when they had cut into my gums idk but I was in so much pain) my cat wanted to play THEN AND THERE. So my face is swollen, I'm on a lot of high dose pain killers barely staying awake for more than half an hour. And my cat decides she wants to play FETCH with her catnip mouse. She brought like 4 seperate catnip mice and swatted and meowed at me to wake up and play fetch with her. She even gave me multiple throw attempts but dammit she wanted me to play fetch.... And then she came and slept on my chest with me or snuggled my arm. She loves days when I'm bedbound. Then its CUDDLES ALL DAY.

Today's an ouch day for me, too, but I have no one to offer cuddles at the moment. When Fletch and I still lived in the same house, he knew when my pain was at its peak & would simply lie next to me, snuggling close, purring, and doing everything he could to make me feel better. There were times when he would allow me to sleep and wouldn't even pester me to feed him, which is remarkable for any cat! However, the moment I would eventually get up for any reason, he knew I'd remember the food & he'd be so sweet about it. Kendra, Billi is NEXT LEVEL when it comes to negotiating with you.
