Cuddles surgery update

Rescue cat cuddles had her spay surgery today and had some complications. Here’s the update.

Debbie, thank you so much for the update! Cuddles may no longer be at KA, but we are all still very invested in her progress. I hope this is only one step back before she takes several steps forward to a brighter, calmer future!

Cheyenne and her kittens are very sweet,thanks for your love and patience with Cuddles hope she’s feeling better and calmer very soon,my Ollie cat was very difficult to get to the vet,more so as he got older,once he jumped off the treatment table onto a top at the side then ran sideways around the wall and hid in a space between the cupboards the vet nurse had to come in with the big gloves to get him out,it was always a challenge to get him into the cat carrier,he was a big orange cat had a lot of attitude but he could be very loving,he passed when he was 17,and I miss him lots.

Good morning Debbie❤️🙏. Thank you for the update on Cuddles and her surgery too. So sorry to her for having to have some complications during but I’m pleased that she is now back with you and in her recovery period too. It is a smart idea to have her in a onesie to keep an eye on her and to also have her resting in a crate so she isn’t running all around and also wanting to jump too. You’re doing an awesome job with her and I definitely have no doubts at all that the both of you will continue to be friends and that she will allow you to help her cause I’m sure she knows you’re there to care for her and help her too. She is such a beautiful girl and she is worth being helped taken care of and hopefully a furever home too. God bless you and Cuddles both and do hope you have an awesome day too. So thankful Cuddles is doing better, I am very worried about her as deep down I think she is a very sweet cat. I have watched her from day one at KA. I think Mr.A did the best job at the breakthrough with her. I don’t think she went to you because he didn’t have the expertise to deal with her, as much as he didn’t have the time she would need especially with other new mom cats there. He actually made your job a bit easier in dealing with her. I’m sure we are all grateful for that. Mostly I only watch but I think this time it was necessary to say something. Mr.A and D.J. Have been doing this for a long long time and have learned tons about cats in the interim. He did so much to bring her out at all, and as you yourself said you have no formal training either, so I think you got her at a good time to work the rest out with her. Unfortunately, you look so overcrowded in your own home, I can’t imagine you having much more time to spend with her but I hope for the best. I think all the trauma with capturing her to have her spayed may well set you back some as well. Looks like the KA community has already been extremely generous to you . I know being a foster that much is provided by DAWS . I also believe you have a good heart , but your home almost has begun to look like a hoarding situation as you can barely get between cages in a room. I was so dismayed to hear you say you didn’t have time for your children because of being so busy with the cats and dogs and all their offspring! I realize they are not little children,but they certainly still need you . I hope you don’t take in any more until many are rehomed as you can’t possibly do all the caring of so many by yourself anyway. I am not criticizing you but only speaking from observations I’ve seen since you began doing your videos. Best of luck to you.😊

I think that you have done some pretty rough criticizing towards Debbie and calling her home a hoesrding situation is very harsh cause if Donna didn’t want to foster then she could say a simple no but, she has a heart for the tough cases and she is willing to care and help those who need socializing so they can hopefully go to a forever home. Donna is definitely an Angel for Cuddles and all the other cats and kittens in her care. So please, appreciate what she is do8ng and don’t criticize how her home is. Hmmm - I think that you are unfairly critical, and your comments are not helpful (and stray into areas that are no one's business) - I think that most people are very appreciative of the dedication and empathy that Debbie has, and of the excellent work that she does to help kitties. Just because someone shares something on social media doesn’t mean you’re invited to criticize other aspects of their lives or misdiagnose them with psychiatric conditions you don’t understand. This isn’t hoarding disorder, firstly, and secondly, unless you’re her own psychiatric care professional, it isn’t your business in any case. I could argue point by point with your post but I’ll just ask you to reconsider and possibly delete it.
