A great review and the best explanation/description of the products within. You’re the first reviewer that hasn’t completely gushed over this advent calendar. In fact, I was about to purchase it but now I’m rethinking. I’m very excited about the Herlum oil, the bareMinerals lip balm and the Saie highlighting lotion. I’ve never used Roen but your review made me not eager to try it. That looked really nice on you, by the way.

I love the Summer Fridays CC Me Serum ! I’ve got the calendar too and I’m excited to try the Seated Queen cold cream. Don’t rate the Augustinus Bader moisturiser, it didn’t do anything for me. Love the Sunday Riley Good Genes! I’m kinda regretting buying this one in all honesty. A lot of products I’m not super excited to try 🤪 not as impressive as previous years

If it goes on sale I may purchase but it does seem like they are getting rid of overstock and free samples that they would normally put in a GWP. A made the mistake of buying multiple ROEN palettes and all of them crease and have a lot of fallout.

This year in my opinion is a let down on previous years. I wonder if it’s got anything to do with the Hut group now owning Cult Beauty ?

I love bare minerals lip products! I like this calendar, but have Liberty and Selfridges! I like the space nk one over this one I think, but I love door 25 in this calendar! I wanted to love the seated queen, I used a delux size as a cleanser but it breaks me out terribly on my nose for some reason.

I’m slightly amused when you said in intro Jo zmalone didn’t cut it...but you bought and unboxed..nothing wrong that 😆 glad you did, I was in two kinds of buying it and the way you unboxed it, I’d rather have it from you in order for me to make that decision. If you add up day 25 on it's own, you have the price of the calendar, so everything else is free as your gift from Cult beauty. You'd think I worked for them wouldn't you. It's how I judge calendars for my in use. Its ok, there's a good selection but it's not last years I saw last years unboxing and loved it. I couldn't afford it and yes I suffered fomo, I saved up this year and I just wasn't impressed, some things I like some I'm like oh no and I don't want it. I'll buy the Deaux eye pads as I do realy like them. I went for Harrods originally, then my sons said I could have about 500 for calendars in all from all 3 of them. So I got Harvey Nichols to, then I saw the SpaceNK unboxings and really liked it so I got that instead of this, and the great thing is I get the Holland and Barrett one on Christmas day so I have something decent to unbox then too. I am abit spoilt by my sons at Christmas but its only birthday and Christmas. The rest of the time they're normally complaining about how much I spend on skincare. Xx 😚 🤗 🥰

I am not enthousiast at all. Other years much beter. The pillow case, hair gummies, mirror and a sleeping mask why? No Charlotte tilbury or la neige this year. Will be passing on this one. What’s next a shower curtain? 😂😂

@traceysolley7134 ‘yes so agree, a let down on previous years. I’ve also noticed the difference in sample offerings etc since Cult Beauty ownership by Hut Group sadly.
