About 11 years ago. My mom was in Vegas for a few days, and we went to a local grocery store. There were some slots in there so we left mom there while we got a few things . This man sat down next to her and started playing also. Mom was 87 then. She accidentally dropped a dollar bill, and this man reached down and picked it up for her. They started chatting. When we came to get mom, we immediately knew this fellow was Tony Curtis!! When mom stood up, she said, nice talking with you. I have to say, you look familiar, but don't know why, he said, my name is Tony Curtis. We all laughed and said good bye. What a nice gentleman.

What I can't reconcile is that he didn't get on with his daughter Jamie Lee & they apparently didn't talk or see each other for years. Almost to the point where she said in an interview "I don't have a father". Just seems bizarre.

Tony/Bernards's long career....separate from family and marriage issues, however, does speak for itself. I don't think there's been a documented problem with any of his co-stars...co-actors/ directors /producers in a production.
