The Baganda were crossing the border through where to trade with Abagusii? From Gusii land to Buganda is almost 300Km. There were no vehicles those old days. Them there is the Lake Victoria and the Luo along the shores. By the time the Baganda had rowed through the lake and treked all the way to the land of Omogusii the banana stems would have dried out. Most likely Abagusii got amatoke through trading with other communities that lived between them and the Abaganda, But this video clip is very educative and interesting. I didnt know that Kabianga originated from an Ekegusii word. I had thought that it was a Kipsogis word meaning the place of Bianga, Ga ab Bianga (Kabianga).

Pronunciations. Pronunciations. Pronunciations! Strive to get a local to correctly pronounce the Gusii terminologies jameni. Good coverage though, insightful. We can do more of this so that we know our cultures.

This is rich history only that it's mixed and has errors in content. Translation has more errors than it can communicate on some terms and it's spellings. I wish I were present during the coverage.

Omogusii ,do your research well, it's is not the reason why omogusii fought the kipsigis , the kipsigis were stealing cattle the omogusii which lead to a war between them.

So Maragoli are kisii? Kumbe. I just figured the link between Meru, Kisii, luo and luhya. Kenyans tribes, are the Mayans, Egyptian, Sumerians and Hindus. Which mean they God decendants. Always wanted to know all I can about Kisii people I suspect the language is close to Meru. If yes that mean a lot to me. Am always nuts about each and every african tribe.

@@Tugalukeni Mogusii and Momeru were twins. Perhaps this explains why we tend to have similar traits - temper, even looks, speech is considered slightly foreign by other Bantus, and we also occupy places that are almost similar. Mokamba was their nephew. First time I visited Chuka, I felt like I was in Ogembo (Kisii), even the people looked like our people. In my family, we have married four Ameru women and they picked the language very fast. Tigania is believed to be the last Ameru group that we separated with (Tigania means to separate in Ekegusii).

@@felixmakinda7689 Mugisii came from Mumeru while Kalenjin's came from Mugisii and Masai mainly. Mluya came from Mkikuyu and Luo. Msumali came from Mumeru, Kikuyus, Kamba''s and Mumasai mainly and is mixed with all Caucasians. MMkuria came from Mkisii, Kikuyus, Masai, luhya''s and to some extent Luo''s. I can tell biological origins of any African tribe by observations.
@Tugalukeni

Kikuyus, Meru's, Kamba', Masai and Luo's came here together from outer space in spaceships. Kalejins, KisiI and the rest of Kenyans tribes were born here on earth and are of mixed tribes from the above mentioned tribes. The rest of African tribes stem from Kenya Africa Tribes. All non africans came from neanderthals, denisovans and other apes that got bio-engineered with African genes by the Africans to be their slaves.

that origin claim is totally incorrect 0:36 the Abagusii migrated from North of Mount Elgon. You are peddling white people rumours
