Culture Shock is back. This time it's the turn of our Egyptian Students to give us an insight of what life is like for them in the UK.

The first lady has got a better understanding of British food than the other 2. British food is very multicultural, with huge amount of Indian influence. (The national dish is chicken tikka masala!) You can also get great Jamaican food, especially in London. There is a lot of veggie food in the UK, and many people who don’t eat pork. Koshary is available in London. It is one of my fave foods of all time. However the BEST koshary I’ve ever had, even better than anywhere in Egypt, was in Cardiff ❤️

wildrose49 I’m a women. I was pretty shocked when I visited Egypt. Men feel superior. I couldn’t walk without getting constantly harassed. Especially in Kairo. But it’s like this in most Muslim countries. There must be a correlation between Islam & archaic lifestyle. Islam needs to modernise. Which will not happen. Let’s face it. 😢
