I was curious about your thoughts on Australia, I'm glad to see you had many positive experiences! I also just wanted to say you are absolutely beautiful not only in looks but in attitude, you spread such warmth! 😊

Accurate. The single worst thing about Aus is the cost of real estate. When I was in my 20s in the 80s, I had built a new house at the beach (Sunshine Coast) for the equivalent price of 5 new cars $40,000. These days that property would be $700,000 (about the price of 15 new cars).

The thing you have to realise is that we are living in gods country , its cleaner ,safer, brighter ,friendlier and more tolerant ,than any country I've ever to and I've been to at least50 other countries . Also our shops and service providers don't have ridiculous hours because our population can't support the cost , also the people who work in these businesses have families and want to live a relaxed lifestyle like everyone else . We learned along time ago that you could if motivated be a tradesman , plumber ,electrician ,bricklayer, mechanic, etc ,and earn a very good wage .we respect our nurses, teachers, and police and pay them better than most other countries ,so you can see we're living in the lucky country , no one here has to go hungry or homeless or is denied access to medical facilities .all in all a great place to be a citizen . I'm glad you chose us and I'm happy your here .

@@andycochrane4131 Only if your in Melbourne, she is in Perth same as me and we don't have stupid rules or anything it's just normal. When the media is reporting on "Australia" atm they are talking about Melbourne not Australia. They want you to think it's all run like that but each state is run individually and that stuff your seeing on tv is in the east of aus, hell here in Perth we had maybe 10 days of soft lockdown all together which really just meant masks and that was it. Just be aware the media are spinning a story that isn't true, It's just one poorly run state.

@@nathr7375 I am in Melbourne actually. It sucks! You’ve been lucky over there, I was wondering if you’d actually secede as a state. This pandemic is far from over, so perhaps Perth’s tribulation is yet to come.

I've lived in Perth most of my life. I hope you're not getting ripped off with your accomadation. You mentioned paying $300 p/w just for a room and that seems insane. I am now as of 2021 renting a decent three bedroom house with ducted air conditioning and a big backyard for $330 p/w. I got a bit lucky on that one but still I just really hope nobody is taking advantage of you. Super glad you're loving Perth!

in Melbourne and Sydney, supermarkets for instance are open till late every night as are fast food outlets or restaurants. Maybe in future don't generalise, because Perth is not Australia, but just a small part of it.

I love Australia, but tap water in Perth is not that fresh,it is salty and that one thing I miss about South Africa(Johannesburg).Joburg water is clean and pure.I have tested tap water in Mudurah,I can confirm that it is pure and taste far better than the one in the Perth region.

Thanks for watching Titus. It certainly takes time to get used to the saltiness of the water 🙂. It's weird how the water in different places can taste different 🤔
@kitatit
@kitatit 3 жыл бұрын
The water tastes different in different parts of Perth due to how far it is from the dams in the hills, what age and types of water mains are used to get it to your house. Also the water treatment stations monitor the water make up and dose it with appropriate amounts of chlorine and UV light to kill bugs. I use an under sink water filter for taste but it’s safe to drink anywhere in Perth.

I've lived in Perth, Western Australia my entire life, and haven't travelled much, and have certainly never been to Kenya. So it was really interesting to hear the perspective of someone who's chosen to move to Perth from another country. I would love to watch a video where you talk about why specifically you chose to move to Perth instead of Melbourne or Sydney or Brisbane. And why Australia instead of the United States or Canada or Europe or New Zealand?
