Haha. I found the beginning of your video quite funny. I think smoking is quite popular in most countries in Europe. I agree it took me a while to get used to it too.

I dont understand why you have a problem with smoking and drinking,its like you said cultural differences...Its our way of life. I visited Ghana and just like you I find some thing weird but its your way of life...I for example dont understand why 95 % of population use drugs.I saw from small kids to old people..They chew some leaves and juice from that leaves make them high....I forgot a name..Its also very weird for me,so much staring,like people check you out from head to toe and peoples mentality is all white people are rich.So many people approach me on the street and try to sell me something..Some guys try to steal my camera,luckily my friends father was with us so nothing happend..Beside that I was fascinated with food and nature.Really love it...I am sad for saying that but its not safe for white people...

I agree with you 100 %. Have a friend from Denmark who's been i Ghana. He said it was very uncomfortable that people really stared at him, like he was some kind of alien from some other planet, kids running around trying to get money from him, probably just because he's a white man tourist. So yes, we all have cultural differences in different countries. And either we need to accept that, or not go there. It's very simple. 🤔👍😎

1. I never mentioned that I have issues with people smoking, and I also admitted that people smoke in Ghana too . Just that it’s more of a lifestyle here and it’s not the same for my country. I’m only spelling out culture differences and it doesn’t mean I have issues with the way things are done in Serbia 🇷🇸. Maybe you need to really watch the video again. 2. It is also 100% false that you make an statement that 95% of the population of Ghana use drugs . Drugs is illegal in Ghana. Maybe you found yourself in a community that the people there are doing it but it doesn’t mean that it’s culturally accepted. And it doesn’t also mean that everyone abides by the law. 3. It’s normal for people to approach you on the streets in Ghana trying to sell to you because there’s sellers on the street. If you go out in any part of the world as a foreigner you’re supposed to take care of your belongings as there’s thief’s who could steal from you . It’s not a way of life in Ghana. 4. Africans generally think so highly of the whites and are very much excited to see them and welcome them. That for me is a problem too but it’s all because of colonization.
@BeksVlog2 жыл бұрын
Serbians also stare at us here very common so it normal because of the whole color difference but mostly our people love to see whites that’s why they stare, it’s not a bad thing. In every country there are people on the streets begging for money and for the children who mostly approach you to harass you, I equally had issues with that in my country. They’re actually not Ghanaians . Most of them are refugees and you can even see that from their skin color or hair.

She compared differences from Serbia to Ghana. The smoking stands out, even when compared to Western Europe. Africans see smoking as a massive taboo so it's odd to them to see it so openly and everywhere. She had the exact same reason for public displays of affection, but she likes that but doesn't like smoking (I'm Serb, I don't like it either but I'm used to it). She isn't demanding you stop smoking, it is just strange to her. These are social things that stand out as soon as you touch down in Nikola Tesla. You are getting worked up over nothing. She is not saying anything is better then the other. Everyone from Western Europe, Australia, US, Canada, etc will all say the same thing. Even smokers are shocked by it as smoking isn't allowed anywhere in these other countries, smokers do a great migration to smoke while at work. How did you go from a women comparing differences between her home nation and a country she is getting acquainted with to you almost getting robbed in Ghana? I've been pick pocketed in Greece, hustled in Turkey and shot at in Bosnia and Croatia (you know what I mean), what's the point? Ghana no smoking, Serbia smoking, Ghana no pda, Serbia pda, Ghana rice, hot spice and heavy soup, Serbia meat and bread, Ghana ppl in your business, Serbia no one sees or hears anything (unless your family then they know everything). lol every time this girl makes a video on Serbia is she supposed to first curse Ghana and Africa and then speak about her experiences or can she just focus on the topics she brings up. Maybe in her next video she can compare robbery differences between Serbia and Ghana and we can argue who will get robbed where more. It's obvious if you are someone who is foreign in a land and stand out you will attract more attention to yourself and in turn attention from the wrong ppl. We stare at other races, especially blacks as much as they stare at us. If you are a 6ft 7 Serb or Dutchman and you walk around the outskirts of Accra reflecting sunlight then you might as well be an alien. I didn't see a real life black person until I was 12 and he was some UN soldier. I have been to Malaysia and ppl looked up to me like I was a tree, kids would chase me around and want me to pick them up and stuff. Every second person was looking at me like I rose from the dead. You are reaching to find insults in a light hearted video that had nothing to do with robbery or aliens.
