This was absolutely beautifully made. What a complex man he was. A terrific actor and very handsome man. Such a sad childhood he had. The first movie I ever saw him in was Mutiny on the Bounty. I was just a kid, but I loved it. Thanks to all those who stood by him until the end.

You homosexual? Just asking I'm not into knowing people that indulge in that or bi, I'm 100 % male . I lose respect for that but that's what Hollywood is about. Not a place for a true Christian period. But that's between you and Jesus when you take your last breath. Just look at Diddy? That's Hollywood. And gangster rap crap. What a world but it's as Jesus said it would be. Come quickly Lord come quickly.

I have the impression that the time who makes iconic peoples is finishing. True gods with believers, after false gods who are loving by fans, and for the finish no gods with fans for the fiction caracters (Batman, Max of Mad max, the vilain in Glass and Unbreakable, a lot of fantasy caracters in movies, serials and important in the lore of video-games.) Excuse me for my writing i'm french and i have a low level in english, have a good day.

So glad that this fascinating documentary was translated into English. Had a great big crush on Marlon Brando when I first saw his movies in the early 1970's. Really did not understand the complexities of his personality until I saw this video. Was rather sad to find out that he had a rather messed up childhood and that he did not get the love he needed from his parents. But was rather disgusted by the terrible way that he treated the women in his life. Although he seemed to have become a joke by the time he died, I do believe that he deserved to be featured as the cover story of People magazine when he died and that he deserved more praise and recognition when he passed. R.I.P. Marlon Brando

My bug bear is the way he treated the women in his life and children in his life. It's not acceptable to say that his behaviour was because of his childhood trauma. If everyone who had the experiences Brandon had and behaved that way then what a World we Would live in. He had choices . Perhaps he was to far down the line and too damaged to see?!😢😮

What they neglected to tell was that Mr. Brando said the love of his life was Wally Cox. Reference: Beauregard Houston-Montgomery has stated that one time, while high on marijuana, Marlon Brando confessed to him that Wally Cox had been the love of his life. There is no way to tell whether this story is true, but Marlon Brando’s everlasting love for Wally Cox is clear whether it is or not.

Décidément une "belle personne", qui avait "tout compris" de l'absurdité obscène de notre société -- et eut l'honnêteté, ainsi que le courage, de rester lui-même, fidèle à ses convictions jusqu'au bout du bout du voyage. Oh please. What about the shocking behaviour he metred out to his children /Co workers/acquaintances/women.....appalling behaviour and he never stood corrected. It seemed he was never challenged about his behaviour and drove roughshod over anyone who stood in his way. As for some of the women who said they understood him/they were replacement mothers/ substitute mothers maybe to sooth the loss of the nurturing from his mother in particular?...We'll never know !😢

This, from George Englund, is very different from what he wrote in his memoir about Brando. For one thing, he said nothing about there being not chair, did mention nurses in attendance (they were definitely there), lunch, etc. Brando's sister had just been to see him. His children visited him regularly, as did others. In fact, son ran to the hospital the say after Englund's visit when he heard Brando had been taken there, but he was too late. In his memoir, Englund wrote of his shock the day after his visit when one of Brando's nurses told him that Brando had died. They had a complicated relationship. There are errors in this video. Coppola didn't have to be convinced about Brando. Both Puzzo and Coppola wanted Brando from the beginning.

How sad that his acting is forgotten by the younger generations as they jump to the next and the next big name. Brando's heart and soul, like the handful of our greatest artists, was in his acting. His most heart-wrenching moment, "I could have been a contender, I could have been somebody," expressed for me all the things - the husband, the father, the friend - that he could have been a contender for.

My in laws saw Brando on Broadway. They said that women were fainting at his performance and had to be carried out of the theater.

I have loved Marlon Brando since I was a child. After seeing him in The Godfather I then watched every movie I could find. He was such a great actor. His issues made him who he was and without them we probably wouldn't have seen his greatness as an actor. One of a kind! We dont have great actors like this anymore.

Im finding out now that most of my childhood hero's that I idolized had a nasty dark side to them . Marlon Brando was one of my hero's in my youth .. It pains me to find out he was not the hero that I thought he was .. The biggest let down for me was Robin Williams ... The guy had me completely fooled .. Im now skeptical of all celebrities including TV personalities etc. and no longer take anyone at face value
