How do you keep a check engine light from coming on. I have a 2015 longhorn with push button start. When I disconnect the grid heater I get a check engine light light for grid heater voltage

buy a tuner. I like the Mini Maxx personally. gets rid of all those annoying codes and tells your truck nothing is wrong with it.

push the button three time fast, or with key turn it directly to start. .. it will start right up and no CEL.. ..

2018 2500hd stock everything. Will doing this throw any codes and keep the pickup from starting/running? Located in the middle of the country, so the temps vary seasonally.

All of it. 2020+ would be preferred. When are you guys going to make a ccv billet upgrade kit for my 2020? I'd rather buy one from you guys than the other 3 letter company.

I would check immediately, the wire that goes to the heater inside the banks horn. Not normal.

We always take them off in our application, more so for performance gains. If you are in a environment where it stays 30 and lower all year then yes I would keep the factory unit on!

Not so fast, you will need tuning to prevent setting check engine light codes, then you will need to upgrade your 68rfe transmission (trans also needs new tuning,) both of which require finding a shop to do it which is very hard after what the EPA did to the Diesel Tuner market. The manufacturer and the gubmint both want you to just buy a new truck after 5 years. I speak from experience, 2 deleted cummins Rams, 2 smoked factory transmissions after 120,000miles. Super frustrating having to spend a lot of money making these trucks right, but if you can do it, they are runners for sure.

@coast.cutter7552 We don’t sir provide any on the spacer plate bolts but if you’d like them we can grab those. For the fuel lines tight sir 29k of pressure go through them so put a little elbo on them you won’t hurt them.
