ISX15s have three solenoids that work off oil and trigger the jakes.

Yes you will lose 3rd stage but 2nd is still better than any other truck on road

Yessir. Turbo is a BorgWarner s400 171702. Exhaust manifold is for a non egr ISX. Coolant bypass tube is sold by Cummins. Get a good tuner to tune the ecm.

I bought it from Cummins. It’s an authentic part mostly used on stand alone units.

Is that a 40 or 45 inch step? Got my turbo coimg in Friday for my t660 and I got 7 inch stacks sitting at the house but my dpf box is in the way also did you move the box forward to clear the stacks?

This step is longer then the driver side one so I’m guessing 45”. I do believe both boxes were moved forward by the previous owner. The truck already has the Peterbilt style stacks when I bought it. All I did was replace the stacks. If u remember correctly, stick Kenworth trucks have the boxes close to the tanks. T660 is a heck of a truck with a nice visor, chrome bumper and stacks. In my humble opinion.

How did it run before tuning the ECM?

Before the tune I had a factory tune tweaked for def delete. The tune I have now is more responsive. I have power when I need it, on demand. As long as I’m in the power band, which the tune also increased the rpm range of power.

There’s a difference in performance but just in how the two turbos behave. This one starts to pull after about 1,200rpms whereas the vgt has more pick up down low but is more susceptible to over spinning the prop if you’re getting up in revs(passing 2krpms). Going up a hill I usually don’t have a problem because my diff rating is 3.91 and I have enough power to let the truck work. The turbo whine sure sounds nice tho.

Ive told people this before and they never believe it PDI does the same work i remember when someone ripped me off cause they didn't trust it good setup but no one will think its possible, never chould find a oil line and they got mad cause i chouldnt find all the parts.
