Another banger episode that Steven Seagull doesn't have on the Bust
@AwesometownUSA2 ай бұрын
yeah, back when KBUST radio first started broadcasting a couple years back, I was regularly lobbying Mr. Seagull to expand the playlist beyond that streak of episodes (approx ~50 -> ~220). He said that a lot of the episodes outside of that era had Nick just straight up playing copyrighted music on the pod, and he didn’t want to risk the stream getting shut down over copyright issues. Which I totally get, and it’s a lot of work to go through every single episode to figure out if any music gets played at any point. But there are a ton of great episodes that DON’T have the Home Improvement theme or Nick playing the 90s alternative playlist off his phone (and there are even a few of those that DO get played on 69.9fm).

I feel like the people who think WV is uniquely "beautiful" are disproportionately urban yuppies like Nick and Adam, for whom all the "natural wonder" is mostly just a novelty they can pretend is so much better than whatever gray, crowded, smelly neighborhood of NYC they're squatting in now. And if they actually lived there every day, the view wouldn't be worth there being less shit to do, the place you live in being less convenient to navigate, and the people you live around, on average, having less education and worse values.
