Since 1974, a small village in the belgian region of Flanders welcomes international musicians and tens of thousands of visitors once a year. On the first weekend of july, the green meadows just outside the flemish village Werchter turn into the Festivalpark for four days to receive a number of bands of various genres: the spectrum of the festival includes acts from Indie- and Alternative Rock to Soul, RnB and Hip-Hop.
On its third day in 2007, Amy Winehouse and her 9-member-band arrived from eastern France - where they played a gig at the festival "Les Eurockéennes de Belfort" the other day - and took the stage for an amazing set of thirteen tracks. Besides ten songs from the latest album 'Back To Black', the setlist included a soulful Zutons' cover as well as their brilliant ska section with covers of Sam Cooke and The Specials.
