Hiii early November will be a nice crisp & cool!! It's one of the best times to visit! I would bring a light jacket if you get cold easily. It is one of the least rainy months!

Taiwanese don’t eat beef is also a farmer thing. In the old days, water buffalos worked the fields and to show their appreciation, they don’t eat beef.

Hehe yes people still eat beef but lots of people don’t either! Some people will eat it once in a while but more pork dishes daily

Actually, the reason why people prefer to eat pork and refuse to eat beef is because cows were used for farm labor prior to the advent of technology. Beef noodles are pretty famous in Taiwan. There's a famous chain of beef noodle fast-food restaurant (Mercuries) that serves really good beef noodles.

Hii now till December are good months to visit! January to February I think is colder and not bad either. They just rain a lot. But I don't mind rain over summer sweating/humidity hahah

@@CupofTJ Thanks! I was in Okinawa in February and it was in the 50's, but wanted to go then because the last time I was there in JUNE, and it was horribly hot and humid. Taiwan is even further south. Anyway, good to know!
