I was searching because I have been newly diagnosed and I found this whole series extremely helpful to my understanding where I have to go from here and how much responsibility I need to take with my diet and pain management. Thanks very much.

Very interesting series. Thank you for sharing. I hope to share this with my doctor. I have similar issues to the woman in your case, and same as her, because nothing shows up in tests they won't really do anything for me. Hopefully, this series will help.

Doctors, this is very helpful to me. I have CP and was in a transplant clinic that had a specialty clinic, which was being overseen by Dr. Gruessner. He brought in all the necessary doctors and the clinic was such a huge help in getting started with transplant options, early diagnosis, EUS, ERCP, MRI, and all the other screenings, treatments, and monitoring of glucose with continuous glucose readers. Unfortunatley, after approx 7-8 years of fantastic patient feedback and such this hospital hired a CEO, that didnt have the same vision, and he had a personal conflict of his own with our main doctor. It resulted in many transplant patients to be left with no care basically, and we are out on our own, along with pcp's, gastro, ect, which seem not to really know what to do. Also pain controls are being severely limited and some have none, which has resulted in two suicides today. One was with a guy who had CP and he was talking to two other group members via face chat, and took a gun out and shot himself. The other we are waiting to see if hes gonna be okay. I connect my newly formed group with theirs and saw another video posted by another member. I'm just wondering if you have any updated series on the newly connected risk for Pancreatic Cancer, and how a patient would go about getting a doctor to screen for the kind that can be detected in the juices while a patient is having a attack, which they induce. In this study it showed about 60%, newly (2yr or less) had already had Pancreatic Cancer. It also would be great to know if there are any advocacy places, or places for patients at risk of losing all hope. My group facebook is called: Chronic Pancreatitis to Pancreatic Cancer Concerns Best regards, Wendy
