True story: my childhood friend lived directly across the street from this house. She sold it exactly a year before Lucy moved in! That would be 1985. So, all the christmases I remember on this block were semi-dark. There's a post office down the block, and some great pizza places on 13th Avenue. God bless 11228!

Been living in Dyker Heights since 1958, used to be a quiet place before the holiday spectacle. Now its just a noisy spectacle of drunken lowlife tossing garbage, trespassing on private property and urinating in public. Its a great place to visit, just not at Christmas time.
