Yeah, maybe my Amazon fire stick max might be experience and some of that. I constantly keep getting interference and buffering and I do have it plugged into the power strip. I’m gonna try plugging it directly into the wall. The problem is that I live in an apartment that’s limited of outlets and I had no choice but to use large plug-in adapter with like eight connections if I could get behind the entertainment center to do that which is a little bit difficult to do and switch my stereo from the wall to the search connector and plug the Firestick directly into the wall so we’ll see what it does. Thanks for the info. God bless got my ethernet connection in the mail and they sent me the wrong part now I’m going on Amazon to re-order it to get the right part thank you

I have been trying to get one reset for a friend. I got in to be able to connect it to my wifi, but nothing else would work. Figured out how to tell it to do the factory reset and got to the screen where it said it would restart, but it didn't. Turned it off and restarted and it's stuck on the fire tv logo. It's been there for about 4 hours. Does it help to wait or is it toast?

@@CuriosityCafe It's probably 5 years old. The person who had it most likely didn't have it set for updates or do any "maintenance" on it. It was displaying the Firestick logo and then a warning came up saying it needed to be reset. It said to go to settings, but of course you can't normally do that in that state. I can't even tell you all I did from there. I watched some of your old videos and got onto the home page. I could go into settings, but nothing else would open. As I said I finally got it to do a factory reset. It wouldn't restart itself so unplugged it and then the logo came up and stayed that way for hours. Can't go to the home page or anything from there. I am just wondering if it has to reload everything and if it's normal for it to take so long. I imagine there is a lot of updating to do. I did tell them to get a new one. But just curious if there's anything else I can do. Thanks for your reply.

You can get a brand new one that is many times better for about $20. I would buy the new one

Are you talking about the video itself looping? What source are you using?

@@CuriosityCafe Yes, it's only happens now and again where the Video loops or repeats itself and then carries on, it's not really an annoyance but would love to know what causes it.

Sometimes the stick doesn't pick up the wifi signal as well as other devices. Needs a clear path or a signal booster. We have a video on a secret menu on how to find out why you aren't getting a signal (noise, obstruction, etc). It will actually tell you.

I gave up on the 2 TB fire stick process and decided to buy the 16gb fire stick version then install kodi... To many problems and errors with the 2tb process Kodi force closing then all my downloaded apps on my 2 TB goes blank firestick freezes then get back to normal im tired of that depressing thing.
