My only problem with this, is how convenient this narrative becomes, for 'Mrca to wash its hands, if/when the time comes. Like I really have a problem with this portrayal of an otherwise upstanding good guy, that could only possible be involved in this evil, because it just fell in with a few wrong folks, who made it act out of character... As if it has no agency, in any of this?! But, c'mon. We all know how 'Mrca was built. What was done to create a land of opulence and wealth for people of a certain shade. We all know how it turned that inward mechanism of control for self-gain, towards the rest of the planet, during the last century. We've all seen that, despite all the rhetoric, it is a thing that has almost no value for the lives of at least 2/3rds of our population. So yeah, the lobby itself is an issue of its own right, sure, but it never would have found such a comfortable and pliable home if 'Mrca wasn't already a bird of the same feather, eagre and ready to do the exact same things itself. So, my worry is, that if the lobby problem is actually fixed, that a lot of people will falsely believe that it has become the good guy again. While all the other problems and fundamental flaws that keep creating these situations, remain unfixed and it will be ready to do it all over again, in some new and different way.

I’m in Florida and I knew this state would not flip blue. I sure as hell am not happy to have trump back in office, we’ve already been seeing reports of increased threats against women.
