What a god damn series that was man. The tactical plays from both sides was amazing. This game is weirdly balanced but it really is balanced, because the player who plays the best 99.9% of the time wins the game. There's just weird mechanics for every race. Mules by themselves seem like they'd be OP, but somehow the mechanics work out in a way that makes it balanced. The only thing I wish Blizzard would work on is getting Terran Mech viable in some matchups besides TvT. Other than that i'm loving the level of sc2 games that have been coming out this year. 2013 a good year for sc2 :D can't wait for 2014!

I don't get your point. Four different unit types? You don't use marodeurs against ling-bane-muta. And medivacs count as "supporting unit". Other wise you'd count : ling,bane,muta,overseer as units. And l-b-m is just for mid to late game. While Zerg transitions to Ultra and Infestor, Terran basically adds some marodeurs more instead of widow mines.

Saying that Teran stay on one technology for 40 minutes is obviously false. Terrans using bio-mine actually need three tech upgrades. Stimpack, Combat Shield, Burrowing Claws. Also Four different unit types in the same army - Marines, Mauraders, Widow Mines, and Medevacs. This is a higher tech and unit diversity than the zerg counter composition of only three unit types (Zerglings, Banelings, Mutalisks) and fewer tech upgrades (Zergling Speed, Baneling Speed). Your statement is inaccurate.

after iem qualifier, inno must fight in acer team against quantic, and he get all kill 5-1. maybe thats why he give that last set to curious. Still inno get qualify to iem NY from WCS ranking.

and comparing research ability is the dumbest thing you could do since the Zerg has much more to research (Zerg Speed, Lair, Hive, Patho Glands, Chitinous Plating, Bane Speed) and not even counting the different sets of upgrades for ground and air) the terran has it's late composition MUCH MORE early than the zerg.

Terran doubles his effort, you need to have superb splitting skills like MKP to even get at par with the competition. No splitting skills you get massacred by banelings. Innovation in game 2 did like 6 good marine splits but to no avail. ^ ^

Game 2: if the zerg lost a big fight like the one that Innovation did, zerg would lose right away. Yet terran manages to hold for some time with that ridiculous MULE+Reactor.

3rd game = made me feel mines are SUPER OP if you are any less than pro-league. Curious had to probably be pushing 400 apm just to avoid the dizzying maze of mines. I'm terran. I would tell Curious to use OV even more to absorb mine hits and always lead with a few units especially with those harrassing mutas. OMG slaughtered!

I must say, the commentators makes the game seem unbalanced sometimes. "No matter how good you are, you can't beat Innovation" (at least something very similar was said during game 1. At the end of game 1: "but in the end, he still died like every other Zerg player". Yeah.. don't know what to say. I'm not saying its unbalanced, but they do make it seem like it is.
