can you show us how you clean your scalp without washing your hair?

If and when you want to - you can achieve heatless curls or waves with big overnight braids, overnight twists, flexi rods, or foam rollers. I use foam rollers overnight to give my hair some movement. They are surprisingly comfortable to sleep on. And wigs/added hair make me hot.

Thanks for the tip! I will give it a try. I think wavy hair with the big braids would be cute! Straight hair can be a little boring! Also, Thanks for watching!

Your hair looks so thin when straightened out. I prefer heat trained hair that’s thick and flowy, with body. Yours looks like a relaxer pressed out.

Question???? You went 60 days without washing your hair 🤔🤔🤔??? How does that effect your scalp?? And why are you doing this??
@DynamicTouch Жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you for your questions! My scalp is cleansed bi-weekly in the wintertime and every week in the summertime since I began using my sister's technique. I think I showed my scalp in this video for reference. My hair strands are kept clean through daily care. In order to avoid a smelly scalp, I make sure to eat clean and cleanse my digestive tract, because I noticed that eating junk food can lead to the body secreting harsh smells. I also use The New Growth Softener Serum and The Golden Shimmer Hair Gloss which helps me maintain a healthy, non-smelly, non-itchy, moisturized scalp. For more information on these products feel free to check the description box.

@@daughteroftheking9560 Yes! Although I am not washing, my scalp and hair are being cleaned regularly. You are very correct about it being a type of protective style. Every day, shed hair easily slips out of my hair, which is good but slightly annoying. Usually, I just keep my hair up and out of the way. Thank you for commenting!

is heat training basically flat ironing your hair more frequently? do you use heat protectant?
@DynamicTouch Жыл бұрын
Not Necessarily, I would personally define heat training as using heat to deliberately loosen one's natural curl pattern. (Other people have different definitions, different expectations, and different results based upon what they are personally looking to achieve. That is why heat training is not one size fits all.) The tool used to loosen the hair could be a flat iron, blow dryer, hot comb, basically any heat source one might feel comfortable with. As to the question of heat protectant: Not all heat trained naturals believe in heat protectants. I personally do. Hope this helps! Thanks for stopping by and watching!
