omg same!! my waves would always fall flat at day 2 but i am realizing its bc i don't use a diffuser- i airdry and then brush while dry :( getting a diffuser rn XD
@samanthamanuele6553 жыл бұрын
@@ohhmangos I actually found diffusers made my hair even more frizzy. 😯 What I do is brush my hair in the shower with leave in conditioner. Then I plop it. Then when it’s not soaking wet but not completely try either I scrunch it. I noticed this helps control my frizz much better. Then at night I sleep with it in a satin cap.:)

If you would add styler to soaking wet hair, maybe use the bowl method, put a shower cap on before the towel turban, (wet plop) while you get ready, then plop in that towel or t-shirt instead of twisting the hair up. Your hair would hold a lot easier!

Hi, ma'am! I super love this video! I actually have a video suggestion and that is your hair care routine for a week hehehe, I'm planning to start my CGM journey and I need to gather ideas and I know your video would help a lot because I also almost have the same hair type as yours! Also, I love the way how you talk, very soothing ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for your time. This is the 1st video I've watched that seems more my style, what I can manage to do. I need simple, so this is best . I will probably skip the blow dryer because I just can't manage that. (I have neck and shoulder issues) Your hair is beautiful, and so are you!

1C... 2A at best... gorl... you have no curls. Just fine hair with a slight S wave. I have 2C-3A hair and I don't do half of this... not even a 3rd. I do agree to not use shampoo on your length. All this has to be a chore and expensive.

C'mon don't be the curl police. She clearly does have loose curls aka waves, let her do what works for her hair without criticizing it.
@AnnaMDurrance Жыл бұрын
@Laura Anderson she clearly has just an s curve and her efforts to just have or wear textured unkempt hair keeps me awake at night. I went to hair school and studied hair types and hair care. I do not have to do half of this to wear my natural hair. If I literally did nothing but fall asleep with wet hair it would look better with bed head then the lengths she is going to just to have a small amount of texture. It's imaginary. She would have much nicer hair if she would accept her real hair texture. I did. And now I get so many compliments. And my hair is healthier for it.

for the CGM how often should I shampoo and wash my hair? I'm new to this hello, and I'm still not that familiar with all the scheds and stuff.
@trinityg85113 жыл бұрын
co-washing with either conditioner or a co-wash shampoo is really good on days where your hair is a little greasy, but not ready for a full wash; you only wash your scalp & then condition your ends, so you're reducing any oils being stripped. I cowash 2x a week & normal shampoo 1x a week to rid of product build up :) (I think many wash about 2x a week, but it all depends on your hair density really)
@jessicagalyon58403 жыл бұрын
I cowash every 4 days then 4 days later low poo. Depends on your hair & scalp. Swavycurlycourtney is a good channel on cgm for waves

Hello! we have the same hair type and really love the results! will start my cgm journey soon! just wanna ask, do i have to wash and apply products on hair everyday?
@dagmare9402 жыл бұрын
If wash day goes well for you, your next steps are to look into how to sleep with your hair and how to refresh your hair on the next day 😉 some take it to the extreme but you should be able to go 2-3 days without washing.

Do you use deep conditioner for every wash day?
@pointofviv3 жыл бұрын
It honestly depends on how much time I have! :) sometimes when I'm in a rush I just use regular CGM-friendly conditioner (mine is currently Human Nature Strengthening Conditioner in Peppermint) and air dry after, but usually I plan my wash days when I have a lot of time so I can style and deep condition properly! I definitely make sure to deep condition if I've been under the sun for a while or if my hair feels especially dry. When I was starting out I only did it 1x every 2 weeks, and slowly built my way up to 1x a week, and now deep condition every other wash day. My hair seems to love it as long as I rinse out all the product after! I suggest experimenting with your hair to see how it responds to deep conditioning 😀♥️ Hope this helps!!

Does your sleeping cap ever come off while your sleeping? Or is the adjustable string good enough to keep it in place? 😀
@pointofviv3 жыл бұрын
Honestly, it does come off sometimes 😞 the adjustable string helps a lot but I think I move a lot when I sleep. I'm planning to get a satin pillowcase instead, so that might be the smarter option! The adjustable string also gets itchy sometimes 😅 I should probably do a review of all the CGM stuff I own! I realized I didn't talk much about my experience with them in the video
