The natural hair journey, I am learning that it is more personal than anything else. My hair hates coconut oil and leave in conditioner. Coconut oil dries it out and leave in conditioner matts it out that it breaks when I take down the protective style. However my hair loves water, hair butter and BJC. Had to learn this two years into the hair journey

Dee & Nay I have been natural my whole life, but I begun a healthy hair journey about 10+ years ago. Before then, my hair was stagnant at the same length for years! But when I started a healthy hair journey, my hair took a progressive turn towards overall improvement and increased in length. I share my tips in my hair videos 😊. I’ve also had very low hair cuts twice in my lifetime.

Hmm, I would recommend deep conditioning to infuse moisture and to strengthen the hair, avoid combing hair dry to prevent unnecessary breakage, and moisturize in a layered fashion: water or leave-in conditioner, oil and cream in that order the day you wash your hair and again 3 days after washing your hair and at least once a week moving forward.
