I'm a curly girl and have viewed many, many curly girl videos. I just ran across your channel and I love it. Being in my 40's I found your channel to be very helpful for a modern, youthful look that's natural and age appropriate. I don't want to look like I'm trying too hard. Gorgeous look!! I have two older sisters, one of which has the most beautiful natural curl, but she struggles with it in humidity..I will share this tutorial with her. As for myself and our eldest sister, we have a natural wave that is almost as difficult and frizzy without the proper products, so this will help us as well. Thank you for your awesome videos!!

I love how you are so professional and still natural at the same time. I find your videos pleasantly refreshing even though you do a lot of the same topicss loads of youtubers do. It probably also helps that you are'nt at least twenty years younger than I am.. But that aside, I was so amused by your conviction that straight haired people don't have frizz, I do! whilst my hair is quite straight it frizzes like there's no tomorrow when the humidity increases but it also does it when there's hardly any at all.. Just wanted to inform you about that. thanks you for your blessing at the endings, please keep making your very enjoyable videos and be blessed yourself. Have a great day!

After coming across your great video I decided to chop my long hair off. It is above my shoulders and looks similar to yours. I wish I did this a long time ago!! I want to say THANK YOU for making me finally change my style. I have decided that I will leave it like this for now on, thanks to you. Your’e a great person with a huge heart! I have seen many channels with all these younger women, and I try to apply my makeup how they do. Needless to say,it does not look at all the way theirs does. You explained it a way that I could understand. Hopefully now I can get my makeup to look right for my age. Thank you for the great tips

The products and techniques you have introduced me to have done Everything I Have Always Wanted!!! for my hair, which by the way is very like yours in its natural state, and I have been having so much fun styling it...something I never thought I would say. So bless your little pea-pickin' heart, as Tennessee Ernie Ford would say, which may give you a pretty good indication of how long I have been on this earth and not having any fun doing my hair! These last few months have made up for everything! So thanks again, Dominique, thanks. And I'm so glad I found you and that you are so great at what you do. You're a treasure. Dominique, I love your videos and am so grateful for your natural curly hair videos in particular. So many times videos feature African American hair and there are many people that have really curly hair but are not of African decent. I am Hispanic and many of us have very fine curly hair. It is difficult to use product that don't weigh it down and also easy on the heating tools because of the fineness of the hair. I have learned so much from you. My hair is curlier than yours but I find that with practice your same techniques work....maybe with an adjustment in pulling out with brush and the amount of product used. Thank you, my dear....you are a lifesaver for us curly tops! Dii

Love the accent ( Im from the UK). Beautiful hair. Could watch all day. Thanks for making me want to change and do things for me again. I think as a mother (even though my kids are now 15 and nearly 17) ive become stuck in my ways. I do the same with my hair for work daily.. different for a night out and then different for days off. BUT those 3 styles have been with me for over 20 years. So im pleased to watch you. I feel like i need to take a day off when the kids are all at school.. Play with makeup in a different way.. wash it off and start all over again same with my hair. So thank you..

I like this channel, you dont show off ten lipsticks at a time or have the "look what i got"attitude like another channel i have been watching,You share ideas without waste and you are all about real tips and advice,You are not hugely vain and self obsessed like(i wont mention names)"you guys know who i mean" Also no animals included in videos, that i find hard to watch when other utubers use excessive products probably tested on amimals and have cats and dog running around behind them, not to mention the quantity of leather goods beening advertised,You dont mention gaining or loosing a little weight every day and you work and dont seem to spend every day spending the economy of a small country at the same time,it short you are genuine, real and honest, thank you oh and have natural beauty

Oh! And one tip! I noticed you would leave the brush at the root to cool after you blow dry to get volume at the root. No need to wait for it to cool. Just flip the dyer around and allow the fan of the dryer to suck out the heat! This is a great way to "set" your hair after you dry each section with the round brush. (I'm sure you already know this genius tip, but just in case!)
