Great job, Gabriel! I have let my hair grow out and, thankfully, it still has curl like it did back in the '80's when I was in a hair metal band. I'm planning to keep it quite a bit shorter this time though. Every thing you said was spot on for styling curly hair. A very light holding product, like American Crew Firm Hold Gel, allowing it to dry naturally, with a bit of finger styling as it dries (but not much!) will yield great results almost always. I used to hate the humidity because it would cause my straightened hair to go back to its natural state of curls. Finally, at age 58, I've decided to stop fighting the curls and just let them go wild, so the humidity is now OKAY WITH ME!!! I'm loving my surfer hair now! (Kind of wish I hadn't cut it short when the '90's came along!)

BRO WE USE THE SAME PRODUCT i thought I was the only one who used that golden gem lol we even have the same texture ish lol mines is just more afro shaped but this is dope Imma try this process later today and see how it goes lol
@The0531995 жыл бұрын
So I used this method with the same product and honestly it left my hair pretty cool lol the afro texture to my hair is more S-curled and more easily flows upward. The curls are actually locking together more or less instead of being frizzy. I still use a pomade to finish styling it but its wayyyyyy easier to style after doing this.
@toml83805 жыл бұрын
How often do you use the conditioner ? Also do use the detangler and the cream at the same time ?
@The0531995 жыл бұрын
@@toml8380 sorry for the late reply. I use the conditioner about 3 times a week alternating from sunday. Then after I shower I put the cream in the dome shaped container while my hair is wet but not dripping wet and let it dry. Or Instead of putting the cream while my hair is wet I let all my hair dry and then use about 2 or 3 thumbs worth of the cream in the dome shaped container and run it back and forth, but not to the scalp ,and again finish off with a pomade. The detangler I use whenever I shampoo so that's based more on your individual. That being said If I use the conditioner I dont use the detangler and vice versa. So yea I never leave the detangler in as it weighs down my hair with the cream lol but if your hair is kinkier then I would suggest trying it out as it would probably leave your hair looser if thats what youre looking for? Hope I helped bro👌

I thought my hair was just "bad hair" so I never bothered, I recently started growing it and conditioning every day, and man do I regret not doing it sooner, now that I'm getting older my hairline is receding a bit. But my hair is actually nice as hell... 😐 like people really wish they had my hair, and I was wasting it away because I was chasing after straight hair and knew i didn't have such type of hair. Thankfully im using minoxidil, so ill have more years to come to enioy my new curls.

Do you do your hair routine before or after your skincare routine? I recently got started doing both routine and I'm not sure which to go for first. Nice video and gorgeous hair btw!

Still trying to learn how to style my curly hair, i think I’ve sort of figured it out now. I was born with super curly hair then it turned straight as i grew up but right when i hit puberty it went back to curly so im just trying to take care of it because im really liking it more than straight hair. (The style I’m rocking now is just a fade on my sides and leaving the top long just like you.)

Axido yoooo that’s crazy mine is the exact same. i had super curly hair till about 5 then it went kinda wavy then super straight until about 11 then up to now me being 15 it’s super curly again.
