My favorite Spider-Man villian would have to be Doc Ock. He's really one of the few villians to actually challenge Spider-Man on an intellectual and scientific level while still being a decent physical threat thanks to his tentacles and how surprisingly quick and agile they can be. He's also the founder of the Sinister Six so I gotta give him props for that. I feel like for the most part he gets a lot of love from other creators who adapt the Spider-Man stories but low key I never really hear him brought up as a favorite among the fans as much as Venom, Green Goblin, or even Sandman. Idk, maybe I'm just imagining that. As far as general design and looks go though I like Scorpion the most, I just like green and most of the suits with the tail look dope as hell a lot of the time. His origins and personality are whatever but I do find it funny how a regular super villian of Spider-Man was created by J. Jonah Jameson to, I guess kill Spider-Man and no one really brings up that weird fact. Like I don't even really get it because at first Scorpion is just a normal PI, Mac Gargan, hired by triple J. to find out how Peter gets pictures of Spidey. After that doesn't work he just volunteers Gargan to be experimentally enhanced for reasons, and that's what turns him understandably insane, swearing revenge on Jameson. I think he does agree to the initial operation but still, he really didn't know what he was getting himself into.
