Another great conversation. The American culture of sports is applying athleticism creatively. We are closer to Brazil but our academies beat the most creatively on the ball out of kids teaching passing patterns instead of passing principles.

From minute 32 what does the introduction of a second ball look like. This seems a critical learning point for coaches and players. Can you post a video with visuals.

Gary, I'd love you to create the 6v5 session with 3 zones that goes into a 2v2 with a 2nd ball being added. I'd also love the rondo breakout idea with finding the free mam and then attacking transition to bigger goals for realism. Hope you can animate these ideas for us as they are very interesting concepts.

I think I need to listen to this one a couple of times and take some notes. He seems like he has produced some great systems for implementing player development in key aspects of the game in realistic environments on the pitch.

Game IQ comes from developing a “Thinking player” who is able to adapt to real game situations/experiences. In Barcelona its the standard of coaching across the board snd the level of COMPETITION in leagues and IF YOU ADD local /regional / international competition and tournaments. There is a very clear pathways of competition were children are increasingly challenged by COMPETITIVE PLAY..By the way, children here play both futsal and 7v7 from the age of 5-12 years!!!! More touches and more play!!!!!
