I'm not into makeup but have been watching your videos for 9 years 😊 just because you are the way you are ❤ Could you please do a "Once upon a pointe" about your tours abroad with NYCB? I'm aware you are experiencing ballet burn out at the moment and may not want to talk about it on video, and that's ok. It's just that you are such a fabulous story teller. I love listening to to you. Have a nice weekend! ❤

Hi! Little tip, make sure that even when u r going to be using makeup products that contain spf u r also using regular spf beforehand bc makeup products with spf tend to not protect against the sun properly. Hope this helps! Ps I love ur videos 💕
@kyoshieevee4 ай бұрын
Hey - if you're willing to share, what regular SPF doesn't smell / feel like a regular sunscreen? I haven't found a facial SPF that isn't greasy or harsh, so I also use just products with SPF in them.
@talitharosanna9464 ай бұрын
@@kyoshieevee Korean sunscreens are generally super lightweight & comfortable on the skin and a lot of them are unscented. Isntree, Purito, Beauty of Joseon & Skin1004 do some good ones for daily use. They are not sweat/waterproof though. If you prefer a mineral sunscreen Inika is an Australian brand with a good natural one that is water resistant too 😊

Love your makeup videos. What I like about your approach is that you show what works for you. This is a good guide in finding the products that works for you, play around with different tools, have a basis style and from there you can build up to whichever look you want to create. I love that you enhance your natural features and bring out your natural beauty. I am on my way to my thirties and have also been rethinking my routine. 🩰🌸

Our makeup routine is so similar for the same reasons - as I got older my skin got so dry and I stopped caring about full glam. We even use a lot of the same products. I always love watching your makeup routines.. nice to see them make a comeback! ❤

Not sure if you've ever done a video on types of beauty products used for either home wear or ballet stage makeup. I know you've done a few of how-to do makeup for both. Like what makes ballet stage makeup traditions work and how they differ from off stage stuff, etc.

Omg I totally agree with the KimK contour for me anyway. I’ve found highlighter down the middle of my entire face works or bronze across the entire perimeter or a sparkly blush on the apples of my cheeks but def not all of the above. It’s so much fun to see what someone else does. Now that I’m 51 I realize how much damage happened by just wearing makeup every single day starting in my teens did. I have mongo pores. If I did it over again (as a stay at home mom) instead of volunteering in like literally all of my three children schools and activities I’d not even wear sunscreen and hole up in my house ordering factor meals, chewy for my pets, and having chill time with friends on FT 😂

❤ ELF makeup product. I had to overhaul my makeup and skincare in 2014 due to skin allergies due dermatitis. I have always use light makeup in daytime, and slightly more in the evening for formal wear, but nothing too heavy or pile it on. As I turn 50 in December definitely nothing too heavy. ❤ makeup sticks for the daytime because it speeds up the makeup routine . I wish they were available when I was younger. Eyebrows: I have more makeup for those than anything else due to chemotherapy 10 years ago .

I’m in my fifties, and less is definitely more when it comes to makeup. I especially avoid a lot of product around the eyes, because it just gets into the creases and draws attention to them.

Melasma is caused by hormone fluctuations too. A lot of women 30+ will have estrogen dominance. So the melasma can absolutely be from that without having ever been pregnant.

Melasma, also known as the “butterfly rash”, is linked to thyroid disease. I have Graves and regardless of avoiding the sun, I still have it. 🫤 Unfortunately any thyroid disorder increases the susceptibility. But honestly it isn’t noticeable that you have it. You look lovely.
