I'm the same too James, I write notes about the sermon while I'm at church but it's a rough jot down, and I look up stuff when I go home afterwards. Love your spreads and chatty videos James. I really really really want to buy a hobonichi because all my favourite journaliers (not sure if that is a word???) use them and are always raving about them, but I'm conscious that my hobby/addiction is not environmentally friendly i.e: wrapping/packaging, carbon footprint blah blah blah so that keeps my addiction in check and it calms my frenzy, so I live my Hobonichi life through others journal videos.... : )

I love the doodles you draw on your pages. I don't tend to doodle, but I like to keep track of what happens during the day, so the journal I carry on around daily is rather plain. I like the way you organized your journal. I wish I organized my journal as well as you did.

I have a journaling bible and a small collection of pencils and pens for note taking and to make the message more manageable for me. So journaling in church has been working for twenty years and most churches give out a bulletin with a note taking section anyway. A journal is more practical to track your spiritual and personal journey!

Hanks for all the inspiration, and fun, can’t wait for the creative box, the journal looks super cute. I now know what I want to use it for, my holiday at Christmas, so yes so much info and love that the humour is there too, and yes I love Zumba too, and reminded me that exercise should be a part of all of our lives. Saying that, I like to dance around the kitchen whilst cooking a meal, with my music blaring, and me trying to sing along with the pots and pans, LOL🤪😍

I've also been journaling notes in church for years....I don't know anyone else who does, though--well besides you! I also do some Bible or faith journaling...sometimes in a Bible and sometimes in a separate art journal. Thanks for the update on what's working and what's not. I love to learn about other artists' processes!

Hobonichi released a blank notebook this year so you could have a free diary. Also, I totally use my weeks pretty regularly, but the B6 definitely gets some days of just art journaling or sketching on a page and some days are actual working plans.

Zumba is so much fun!! I've done it on and off for a couple of years and enjoyed every single lesson. The pocketjournal you've made for the creatorbox is so freaking cute!! The idea of you producing your own inserts with illustrations to sell in your Etsy store would be amazing! Just saying... ;-)

I bought a 5 yr journal off Ali express that I plan on starting in January. But mine isn’t a hobo, I wasn’t ready to invest in that. I’d love to see others do it too.

are the mini journals and journal inserts something that you only offer to patreon subscribers and supporters or are they sort of "here and gone again" items? I'm finding only one remaining insert in your shop. LOL

I love Zumba too!!! I would have gone with you. I use to go 2-3 times a week before I had kids. I need to find a Zumba class.
