I’m loving these journal and chat sessions James! I’m finding that your voice is a great soothing background noise while I journal with you and start to zone in and out ~ it’s very therapeutic! It feels like hanging out and journaling/ arting (is that a verb ) with a friend so thank you- especially with current restrictions and for us fellow introverts who prefer not to have real human interaction- thank you

Ooh, love this page, it is a bit like crazy patchwork but with paper, ephemera and stickers! I shall be joining the Virtual Voyage course, hope to purchase this afternoon, rather excited about it 😻😻 I am not sure how much of the Live stuff I will manage - timezones... need I say more, but the itinerary looks amazing! ✨✨✨

Two things: I'm excited for Virtual Voyage, mostly for the live parties and the chance to narrow my focus (I have trouble with that). And, I'm so sad we can't do AJTM this December, yet I COMPLETELY understand. I'm jonesing for some good travel. Perhaps if things get better I'll come out there by myself and dig up you and Stephanie and Pam. I've been isolating myself socially a bit because of mental health, so it's time to start engaging again (distantly and responsibly!). Virtual hugs to you and Steve.

If you make it out here I will CLEAR my schedule! hhaahaa. I was thinking about going to Australia around Christmas but I'm honestly not sure if I won't still be stuck quarantining for 2 weeks around then...

I am fairly certain you could do the same thing 10 times and it would be different 10 times. You are a remixer. Elements tumble out with such variety. Of expression, of tone of feel. I dont know where I'm going with this. 👍

You used squares for a calendar. This time you are creating whateverly. It is something different with a technique you enjoyed. Thank you for being you. I appreciate you. I appreciate your creativity ideas.

James, I recently discovered your channel, actually watched your video with you swatching your DS collection about 2 years ago, yes a while! I left you a pretty long comment which I don’t want to repeat. I’m leaving here a comment because I’m not sure you still get the comment to a 2 year old video. I love how upbeat you are, your laugh, and you’re so natural, we really need that now.But I had some comments and questions there, hope you can read hat comment and can reply to me. I see you work in many different mediums, but I’m interested in watercolors. Hope you are we and stay safe! And hope to hear from you ☺️

I really enjoyed watching the the collage come together. I'm really happy that I was able to take part in the Play2est .... It was a great experience, but I understand your not wanting to do it again. I think I would enjoy the virtual voyage, .... but for many reasons I'm unable to join it. I wish you all the best, and hope it'll go great and you'll have fun. =) Oooh, Costumes and everything?! *moan*.... I would SO enjoy it.... OH well. Bless you - I mean Tissue. ;)

I'm pretty sure it was my mums from her old scrapbooking days? I believe it was a cutting guide for a Fiskars cutting tool... I think?

@@JamesLukeBurkeCreative James,I have this set as well and you are correct. It is Fiskars and came with three. Each one has a unique tearing edge and punched holes to store in a binder.I love mine but have not seen them in stores for a long while.

If a creator switches to Patreon I have no issue with them scaling back on KZbin. Their time is valuable so they should be compensated. People pay for cable to watch reality TV so how is paying for entertainment through Patreon any different? People that can't afford cable or choose not to have it look for alternatives which is probably why most of us are here. Also, don't feel bad setting classroom minimums to hold a class. Your time is valuable and while I'd love to have you all to myself to learn one on one could you reschedule to get a bigger turn out? If the students get to engage with you snd the class it's a leaning opportunity for everyone, you included. That's my two cents. Also, hurry up and restock your stamps, please! I'm so eager to get to playing with them. Thank you for the video! These are much appreciated especially while I'm cooped up at home. 😀
