I mean, Mill Creek and Media Blasters releases are region-free, so if you can get over the hump of customs fees that's at least _something._ And even though they haven't put one out in a while, Arrow or Eureka could always surprise us with another tokusatsu title.

To clarify in terms of Mill Creek with their Ultra releases, at least from what I've seen, the Blu Rays are region free but the DVDs aren't. The only ones I can't speak for are the Red King set, individual movie releases and the Ultraseven set. (Although the last one is on the way)

6:48 have zero one & Ryuki Blu Rays . Have started watching it and yes Toei has a odd relationship with localizing kameh Rider stuff . I wanted more people to experience it especially after the fuuto Pi anime last year aka kamen Rider W but perhaps its better left anonymous than being in the anime crossfires....

Discotek media is one of my go to licensors for older 70 80s 90s and 2000s era anime both sub and dub separate releases but I do love their work.. very tempted to revisit black RX since the anime fandom is no longer a home for me....

4:11 love mill creek and I have ultraman, Gridman hyper agent & Tiga I have Blu Rays for. Tiga was my first intro via the foxbox TV dub ( not confused with Sabans old Foxkids TV block! At least in my USA area ) and it was awesome but only half were aired

Discotek seems to be teasing something that may be toku related. As they are giving "clues" to pointing to ether a Space Sheriff Sharivan or a Kamen Rider Kabuto release. But It's werid after the relivitivly well received releases of Shin Ultraman, Shin Kamen Rider, and Godzilla Minus One theatrically. You would assume Toei and Tsuburaya Productions would want to capitalize on this.

Update from the future: Shout Factory released Kamen Rider Geats. Mill Creek inked a new deal and released Taiga, with plans for Blazar and Ultraman USA releases. And Discotek just announced plans to release Shaider, Winspector, Kamen Rider V3 and Kikaider.

I honestly kinda want to see Discotek release some of the Toho Toku shows like Go Godman, Go Greenman, Zone Fighter, and Guyferd even though that last one can be a bit challenging due to it being a collab with Capcom

I just hope Shout can at least get the original Kamen Rider on Blu-Ray, I would hope it's easier to get than a whole new series due to it being on tokushoutsu, and due to the Shin movie, and even the OG Manga selling pretty good over here, I see some potential for it turning a profit. My only concern would be price, due to there being significantly more episodes.

A good time to post this on Black Friday where a lot of these are on sale. Tempted to get the Kamen rider black set but even on sale it’s a little much in Canadian. I’ll have to let you know how the Shin Ultraman set from Raven Banner is as I do have it on preorder. Raven Banner is pretty good though so I think it’ll be great

Are they in accurate English subtitles by any chances sir? If so then I may I ask if any chances have had you checked each and every episodes, movies, specials and others to seeing if they're not just as some kanji Romaji as I saw on Jpop lyrics that they couldn't find or put in English subtitles for us fans to understand and get their saying 5Ws and 1H so they don't put randomly as my sister's Japan TV shows called Sushi Ouji in English title prince of Sushi 2008

@@Soundout12 I've been getting a lot of Toku though lately. The Ace, Taro, Leo, Gridman, Ultra Galaxy, Ultraman Zero Collection, Neo Ultra Q, Ginga and R/B Blu-Rays. The Ultraman, 80, Tiga and Dyna DVDs. The Zeo DVDs and Turbo Movie Blu-Ray plus the Gavan Blu-Ray.

I think part of the reason Saban went with Lionsgate when they did the physical media deal for Samurai onward is because the Shout! Factory deal wouldn't be a thing for another year or two, and the Samurai volumes were coming out as Samurai was airing, and I don't think they originally had complete season sets in mind for Samurai and Super Samurai, just the individual volumes. I don't know for sure though. As for Super Sentai, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we got every Sentai season that was adapted into Power Rangers on DVD by the end of the 2020s, even if we don't get the rest of the pre-Power Rangers seasons released over here.

My guess with the Lionsgate deal was that Saban was trying to sweeten the pot for what ended up being the 2017 movie release

@@Soundout12 That's always possible but it's hard to tell for sure because I don't even know when Saban came up with the idea to make what would end up becoming the 2017 movie. And if that was the case, why go with Shout! Factory for the DVD releases of the other 17 seasons?

I would love to see some older shows, like Spectreman and The Space Giants/Ambassador Magma, get physical releases. Especially since those series aired on American television back in the day. Even though it's on Amazon prime, I am still waiting for Shin Kamen Rider to get a Blu-ray release, but that hasn't even happened in Japan yet. If it does happen, I pray it's not done by Cleopatra.

I have no idea what's going on with that movie. Crunchyroll licensed it, subbed it, screened it at anime expo, put it on United airlines in flight movies, then just forgot to release it anywhere else? Such a mess of a company

If Mill Creek has nothing new, they can easily do a SDBD sets for Ultraman, especially with 80 and Mebius to complete the "main" Ultraman timeline. EDIT: What if Shout! Factory will make an announcement by December like last year?

I really hope with Johnny's restructuring we can get a new Tiga release that includes Take Me Higher and Final Odyssey Also, I know that Rider 71 is challenge to put it on Blu Ray due to how many episodes there are, but I do hope it does get a physical release because I'm a little worried about it being a streaming only release. Maybe they can split the series up into smaller and more affordable releases?

My theory on Toei and Rider is they’re focusing on Godzilla Minus One’s marketing, especially since it’s going to be a (staggered) worldwide release. I truly wish they would go back and fix some of their subtitles because some of them are really bad and riddled with typos and spelling and grammar errors (See: Tokyo SOS]

This year started out so strong with Ryuki, Dekaranger, and Black coming out to BD and then suddenly crickets. Absolutely nothing from Shout! Factory, which was majorly disappointing. Yeah, Discotek did Rx, but then they've been very quiet. I'm not surprised Mill Creek has slowed down since they finished off their license. They probably need to wait until the license ends before they can renew it and talk about new titles. I've all but forgotten Media Blasters. Didn't pick up the BDs to the two PR movies. Since the series those go with are only on DVD, I've not felt compelled to buy the BDs.
