sick subie! for all the mods you are planning, get an FPR, a bigger fuel pump, and Injectors. it will make the car run so much better. maybe E85 too

@@jacklin9768 that’s what I was thinking too! My previous build literally had everything and the power level was up there . Made 438 on 91 ! And yeah e85 would be nice but flex would be ideal for where I live at

@@subiekeo I did run mine on stock turbo and motor on e70. but I still mix it with pump gas to run flex. in my area, E is cheaper than 92 Oct (oregon)

😅 I'm not sure if tunner bro knows what he is talking about fueling his first lasting always. You don't have enough fueling The injectors are practically tapped from factory The fuel regular pressure regulator is not quite right either. Definitely get a second opinion from a reputable source that knows what they're talking about. I wouldn't touch a tune that included a downpipe that doesn't include injectors I fuel pressure regulator and a fuel pump. Anyway like I said it's lean burn from the factory
@subiekeoАй бұрын
@@zeno15sti33 I know from previous sources usually on these va sti you would need injectors so you’re right I was confused on that.. previous gens I know you were able to do so on a downpipe without injectors.. yes the injectors would be tapped out but what do you think is the difference now since it’s the same motor? Maybe it’s a question I can ask him. I had my previous sti built and tuned by them and yes it had all the fueling, injectors, fuel pump and regulator.
@zeno15sti33Ай бұрын
@@subiekeo yeah Joe there's there's no real difference most changes have been evolutionary. The newer ones that heads breathe a little bit better that's about it. Essentially an EJ is an EJ. The factory 565 550 is whatever you want to call them are tapped out. Or you're leaving horsepower on the table one of the two
@subiekeoАй бұрын
@@zeno15sti33 right on yeah I guess I’ll see what tuner has to say. I know he’s been doing those setups for awhile but i don’t know. I mean yes you are leaving hp out without those injectors. And essentially I feel like I’ll end up doing fueling anyways . It’ll set me up for the future
@lucian7182Ай бұрын
The factory injectors are not tapped, you can run a downpipe and intake, on stock injectors you will however need the Cobb fpr or an adjustable one. However, your injectors will be hitting 95-97 % at wot in the high rpm. If you live in a colder climate or higher elevation these numbers will go up.

@@lucian7182 that’s what I’m thinking.. and yes you’re right the duty cycle will be up there but maybe for the assurance of just doing some 1050s or something to have.. set myself up for future .. or before I ran 1200 from FIC.. which were about same price
