I also came late to Star Wars, already knowing the plot, and instantly became obsessed (although that was before TFA - I remember being impossibly excited when that was announced), so your story is very relatable :)

I absolutely love Howl's Moving Castle. I enjoyed the film, but I much prefer the book. I'm also currently rereading the HP series! :) And yes Star Wars! I'm so happy that you're loving them. I was pretty much raised on Star Wars - I love them so much!

Howl's Moving Castle is such a beautiful movie! OH my gosh I just watched all the Star Wars movies for the first time ever a few weeks ago too! After I watched the original trilogy and I was like "Ok they were cool" but I also felt like I was missing something, like what's the big deal here? And then I watched the prequel series and I was like "omg what this amazing!" and now I'm like obsessed with Anakin's story and I feel like I just need more of that (because I feel like there is way more but the movies maybe dropped the ball a little bit for him), and then I watched the new movie and loved it and now my tumblr is just full of Star Wars reblogs which is so weird because three weeks ago I was like "pssh Star Wars whatever", and now I'm part of the frenzy lol. I would LOVE a video of you talking about Star Wars!

YES! I'm so happy you're reading Howl's Moving Castle, that's my favorite movie of all time. Like you with LOTR though, I haven't read the book. So I'll be remedying that during Magical March. I'm the same with Lord of the Rings v Hobbit. I read LotR first and was kind of expecting the same type of thing from the Hobbit, but was severely disappointed and didn't enjoy it much at all! Maybe if I read them in order it wouldn't have been so bad though, who knows! Loved the video :)

I am SOSOSOSOSO glad that you watched Star Wars. It is fantastic. It such an integral part of American Mythos. I am always surprised when I meet people who have not watched Star Wars. I think my husband and I would watch at least one film a month while dating; we starting dating around the time 1-3 were released, so everyone was in a Star Wars frenzy at that time too. In fact, the first gift I ever bought him was the first toy released for episode 1 (almost a year before the release). We still have it in its box.

Howl's Moving Castle is such a crazy book. There are a lot of things in the book that aren't in the movie, probably because it was all too crazy and farfetched to put into the movie or something. Looks like you're having an awesome month reading an epic fantasy and watching an epic sci-fi. Haha.

This video makes me so so happy! I love the Miyazaki movies and I'm planning on reading Howl's Moving Castle this year too :) also happy about star wars. I've seen the new one twice and love it so much. Abrams did an amazing job. You should totally do a star wars video! I'll watch it for sure :) I want to also recommend watching the Shannara Chronicles! It's an awesome fantasy series

The elves protect a sacred tree that sealed away demons. But now, the tree is dying and a few chosen people have to prevent possible extinction. It's really great :)

Ohh, I'd like to know what movies/tv shows you're watching especially cos January is the time of year new seasons or shows come out. I myself have wanted to watch star wars since a while back just because I wanted to see what it's all about considering it's one of the biggest science fiction series ever, and then I found it there was a new movie and thought what better time to get to it so you're video has inspired me to finally get to it because I have been pushing it off for way too long. And have you seen the new Shadowhunters TV show?

That was what inspired me to watch Star Wars as well! I have seen Shadowhunters, both episodes that are currently out right now, and I have A LOT to say about those as well. So I think I will include a mini discussion of it in my currently watching video. But for now I'll just say that I was not a fan of it.

man is STAR WARS! I get the obsession, hah, so I'd love to see a SW video. Can I recommend something? I read some canon Star Wars books and I think you would really love ''Lost Stars'' by Claudia Gray. It's a YA book that starts before episode IV and ends shortly after episode VI. We relive the events of the original trilogy through two new characters with... ''different'' perspective and it's so amazing to read! Please check it out :) (Also, if you are still with Star Wars feels, there's this weekly Star Wars youtube show that I freaking love and it's great for fans, it's Collider's ''Jedi Council)

Those lord of the rings books look like bibles XD. Ur state for star wars is me exactly for phantom of the ophera. I just watched the movie and I have seen the play. Im in this state where I cant listen to or sing anything else but phantom of the ophera. I will listen to something for a few seconds then be like i want phantom XD. From ur singing video u inspired me to maybe to that too for my channel so hmm maybe in the future i will sing phantom on my channel.
