Brian is my inspiration in being a vocalist and Chris is phenomenal on guitar. I also happen to be from Massachusetts. It’s a great place to be from if you’re a currents fan because they always make sure to come around the area on tour

You get so caught up in how catchy this song is that it’s hard realise the technicalities in the instrumentals. I only started listening to Currents in the last 6-9 months, but they’ve easily cemented themselves as one of my favourite bands.

@@olliehuxford680 no problem I’m glad I could help. Also if you don’t have a guitar that can tune that low I would recommend getting a digitech drop pedal then tune your guitar to drop B then use the pedal to lower it 7 steps to drop E. That’s how I do it on my 6 string

@Nicholas Stilinski Nicholas, so true . Yes the dam bird was a pain . It would carry on swuakin over any sound. I took a inovated solo lead on a stereo 67 Rickenbacker 12 string thru two amplifiers. It was like one of those Charlie Parker moments. The Band was shedding into another dimension. Truthfully, I felt bad about the bird.

At first, I thought it might be some type of harmonic or pinch harmonic, but I actually think it could be a whammy pedal since I don't see him hit the string in any way when it happens.

I figured it out, if you look closely at the part before he switched to the middle position on his pickup switch and then if you look at him as he does the hand movement he's moving the switch back down, nut sure what crazy wizard shits going on but obviously that has something to do with it

I watched a couple of time at 0.25x speed and I'm pretty sure he only does an upstroke on that high e (whatever name it has in that tunning, you get what i mean). He for sure use a whammy pedal or put the effect in post like he explained in his the way it ends track by track.

i think he is using a pitch shifter pedal here because he cannot get these high notes with this low tuning.
