The song that’s playing in this episode, my cousin wrote the song for this girl to sing for Te Reo Maori week. He’s a song writer/director. The song gets me in tears every time it starts playing😢😢 the song fits this scene so well 😢😅

Curtis Hannah was one of my favourite characters on Shortland Street also Esther and Jack I always knew Esther was meant to be with Curtis no matter what or who Esther was with or vice versa in my heart and in Esthers heart she was meant to b with Curtis no matter how long it finally took Esther always knew it , in the back of her mind Curtis was all she thought about I thought they were a beautiful couple and everytime Esther said she wasn't ready Curtis would say I will wait how ever long it takes.when Curtis died I was emotional I think alot of viewers were the funeral at the end when tk said because of restrictions they couldn't go to the cemetery when Esther started crying i covered my face with my hands the pain was so hard to watch that at that moment I just started crying i felt Esthers pain through her emotion jack is the only Hannah alive all jack has now is pikitia Curtis daughter and of course Esther Esther has lost the love of her life we will forever miss Curtis

When I was watching Shortland Street retribution I was saying to my kids that the police were" dodgy as" I could see it and I knew it too even though Curtis Died I'm so happy he got to see pikitia and I'm happy that Esther had his baby.

Meghan Trotter true that was the risk that Curtis was willing to take and he took that risk and ended up dying of course he knew wat he was getting himself into but he took the undercover job anyway despite it all.At the end of the day Esther is without her love and pikitia has no dad I wish things ended differently did I like the ending no of course not but that's how it happened

I thought Tess mum was going to die obviously because she had cancer I really thought Tess was going to pull through and b ok damn Richard then they had to kill Curtis why couldn't Tess and her mum die and Curtis stayed alive to be with Esther and pikitia then Esther would be happy with Curtis and pikitia and b one happy family

The actors probably wanted to leave the show so the writer just killed off there characters. The actress for Tess also had her husband on the show as well. She probably decided to leave as well because her husband left.

To be honest it was good his character died. Curtis has been through too much heart break. Even his girl in this video was screwing another guy when he was away working and he died not even knowing about it. His brother is also a douche for not even telling Curtis about it. His brother knew Esther was sleeping with her ex when Curtis was away but he didn't say anything.
