In this video I'll show you how to build the best F-35 Lightning II looking fighter ship in Starfield. This ship has a good layout with no maze style hab layouts. This ship will improve your gameplay on starfield due to firepower and the mobility of this ship. This layout helps avoid ladders everywhere and running around your ship getting lost. You can build this ship using Grade A and Grade C parts, some of the parts I use are Grade C and locked behind levels / traits and skills, but again, you're able to build this without expensive parts. I love it however I made a couple of changes and namely because of how I play. With thrusters you don’t need 100 mobility so instead of hiding an engine I’ve instead slapped a deimos hull piece down. Doesn’t ruin the shape in my opinion and it’s not like you’re going to see it if you think it does. Pretty pricey though. 350k credits is needed at the minimum.

You can block off ladders that you don’t want by putting down equipment plates and then doing the drop down glitch or duplicate glitch

Another method of the duplication glitch using the controller: If you delete the hull piece you use to get the part you want above where you're trying to drop it down, then click on the part you want to glitch, it will automatically drop to where you're trying to put it, then press A and it will snap in place

I saw a parts list although you really don’t need it. As long as you follow his directions and build the ship at an outpost (gives you access to all parts), you should be okay. Your level decides the number of parts you see and u can improvise what you havn’t unlocked. I’m level 20 and the only thing I had a problem with finding are the thrusters,engine, and weapons for the most part. All of those have easy parts that you can use instead. The low level engine that fits is white(forgot the name) and the ship still looks very similar. Just do duplication glitches around it to blend it in.

I like these builds, but the explanations of the glitches use is the best part of this one. It would be great to see a short video just dedicated to these kind of techniques. None of the ones I've seen cover what CurtisBuilds' seems to use most frequently.

Great build. Its works best for recreating variable geometry or high delta wing aircraft because their leading edge is swept close to 65 or 67.5 degrees. Think F14, F or FB111, and B-1. To scale up to a B-1 and make a 4 engine missile firing bomber would take oversizing mods but i think, if you did it, it would be an absolute brawler!

You Are The Man To Go To For High Action Builds! OMG I am loving the first 2 I built. The first one with the Razor. With the intimidation factor added to its build. It hard to find a fight in it that will last. Factions and Bounty Hunter do not care. But Spacers go blue in the same area. But that's The Razor with any build. I redid the frontier the same way. And it is beautiful to fly and fight in. I was trying to find a place to place builds. Thank You for that link also. I have been having so much fun with these builds. They were all before level 50 NPCs. So I beefed up the Star Eagle in my own crossbreed way between you and another ship builder with the Varuun class C ships. It came out nice. OK I went overboard with the layering. Took it from a 100 to 70 mobility. With 2,240 Mass. Used the 500 tank, which let's me fly from one end of the universe to the other end in 1 jump. I like jumping from Hawking system to New Atlantis in 1 jump. Got spoiled with that added trait with that tank.

If anyone is wondering where you can get the landing gears mentioned, go to Sol system and then Titan as well as Neon and either go to the service tech or Ryujin Aerospace depending on whether or not the service tech has bugged out.

I really like the ship and will make build it. I have far more than enough credits that building the ship is no issue as I’ve yet to even really build my first ship with 400 hr played. But I’ve modified a lot of ships as I’ve boarded and stolen for fun and it’s a lot. So I’ll likely just use one the Mk II or III ships I have tear it down to build this. As well appreciate seeing the dropdown glitch is the multiple versions of how to do. I like the firepower, but I don’t want to melt all the ships too fast, I enjoy boarding and stealing ships for fun. Will just have to dial down power to weapons, but all good.

Going fast doesn't bother me as much as lack of 4-11 on where some of these parts are or how they're unlocked. The Taiyo parts, the SAE engine etc. Put a vid together on that would go a long way

another guy made the same comment, but you can block ladders by putting down equipment plates and drop glitching, but ive found if you modify the ship after that you have to manually re-do all of that. not a huge deal but youll have a functional ladder through the equipment plate if you dont.

I find deleting the hull that the tab is attached to and then selecting the hab will drop it into place. For me as a console player, I find this method easiest for the drop down glitch

So everybody knows. The Duplication Glitch has BEEN working perfectly. The key for console at least is to have it set 3 Diemos Hulls up from the desired snap spot then they will snap in no problem. Works every time. But but so well with the drop down one

Some parts can be both level or skills restricted as well from the various manufacturers. If your building at an Outpost, you should have access to everything and if your over lvl 62+ I believe it is.

It’s so hard to build these ships of KZbin because we have to travel around for parts, we can’t just buy the part and it goes into the parts builder menu, I got upto the SA engine part and had to cancel because I don’t have the SA engine, it’s so annoying. Am level 219 and still using the standard ships from sellers, I want a custom ship so bad but I can’t build them. I would literally pay you and give you my acount to sign into and build it for me. Am that desperate for a cool looking ship.

On Xbox I find that if you snap the item to the layer above and then move what you used to snap the item in place and then grab the item, it automatically snap to the glitched location.

Just to note, that it doesn’t always work. For instance, I tried this for the Tomcat build and once I removed the hull pieces I used to snap the Deimos spines above the engines, the spines become unattached instantly.

Have they patched the drop down glitch? I'm trying to use it on PC. I've tried mouse/keyboard and xbox controller. Duplication glitch works fine, but not the drop down glitch.

I may be missing a step. I mouse over the item I want to glitch, I hit space to edit it (turns green), I left click it with the mouse, I hit F and lift my finger off the mouse. I've tried numerous other combos with the left click and space bar, and either the piece does not move at all, or it ends up red. Same results with the Xbox controller. If my sequence or keys are wrong please post the correct sequence. Thanks!

Controller it's double tapping LB can't remember the KB option (whichever button says select part/mark part just double click that and you should mark the entire lot.)

How do u unlock all the ship parts? I maxed out the plot and and ship design perks and did the uc vanguard quest. And I do my ship building’s in my outpost. Can anyone help?

You unlock parts with different factions and missions. All I can remember off the top of my head is Walters Strous' mission unlocks prototype engines, Crimson Fleet also unlocks specialised parts too. You would be best searching it on KZbin.

If you just play the game regularly you will make that money and more and doing so legally. Some new players can be just starting the game and very impatient in learning and figuring out how to make money legally. You don’t have to get super rich, but eventually after amassing a few hundred thousands the credits don’t seem to mean much but you still grow it slowly. If you board and raid ships and good ones and sell them rinse and repeat you’ll increase in credits as well from selling all the junk weapons and armor. Especially if what you have is already far better. Facilities are all over the place on planets and moons. Visit a few, kill all the pirates, take their stuff and sell it and watch your credits increase. Help out the UC fleets in space killing pirates and always take the credit when they say thanks for the help and that’s like 4-6k credits as can vary. You can make money with Outposts, but it takes a bit of time upfront to setup. Plenty of ways to make money in Starfield if just play the game normally. Made my first million in Starfield doing everything I just said and I haven’t NG+ anything. Barely collected 1 artifact as well.

Forgive me Curtis, but the F-35 is NOT a delta wing. I don´t know WHICH plane you modelled this ship after, but it clearly is NOT the F-35. Generally the USA has very few fighters in their entire history that actually had delta wings. France is the champ of delta wings with their Dassault Mirage series. Then Sweden with pretty much every fighter since the Draken, i know it because we in Austria flew the Draken for decades. Even the F-14 is not a delta wing because it´s a swing wing design, it goes near delta but doesn´t fully commit to it. A-4 Skyhawk is the one i could name.

Once mods arrive, we will be able to add the proper shapes of these ships, I'm just doing the best I can with what I've got. There is currently no way to accurate aircraft wings in Starfield as of yet, but I like to think I did a good job recreating it with the limitations of the game.

Considering the F35 delta wing is actually different to the Lockheed I think the build is close enough with what we have. Try and build these ships, show me a better option because it's nigh on impossible. Once we get proper mod tools, we'll have a field day recreating all these.

This isn’t an F-35. It’s just a single engined F-14. The “cockpit canopy” is too large, the vertical stabilizers are too far aft, the wings have too much of a sweep and lack the diamond delta shape, and it lacks the “central spine”
