He shows the paint he used in the video. It’s Angelus leather paint. But I guarantee that paint is coming off the outsole the 1st day he wears them.

I' paint alot of AF1 Shoes with angelus Leather adheres great and ive done this first hand with same paints even prepped and matte acrylic finish coat .. It will scuff if you bump it.. it also will come off the lowest part of the bottom soul at the edges . I think the best way is to rit dye soul's The souls are rubber the shoes leather . Paints dont tend to adhere as well to rubber soul's they have nothing to bite into. Just my honest opinion.

@@Everiik Not that I know of. Most of my af1 shoes I have tried angelus on the lower soul's Never the bottoms only the sides , they scuff if bumped but not too easily but just regular walking they will still . Leather does not at all if finished with finisher.

angelus paint good for leather, there is no product or paint for the rubber midsoles, the angelus paint wont last long and will crack after time to do it over and over again. but if u wear your favorite sneakers once a month it will crack again because it dries out. put your expensive sneaker in a cabin and dont wear them.

I definitely know and I have a sealer to help with that as well though but customer wanted it and took all precaution for the shoes to be durable as possible.

I think you did a very very good job. My only problem is that you never showed. How you prep around the sole of the shoe. I've been searching all over the place. To see if someone can show me how to do that. But I haven't come up with nothing yet...😞😞😞😞

@@JP_designs15 the paint has chipped on the bottom but it took a few months beforethat started to happen ,the shoes however are still in good condition still look brand new prob cause I only wear them maybe like evry 3 or 4 months

​@@callmekingtrey7756 Whenever you paint the bottom soles and the lower part of the midsole make sure you put a light coat of E6000 glue on the bottom and bottom midsole that touches the ground. That way it want chip but it gotta be light coats of it. That E6000 will not wear off.

The red was a under tone. An yes the white was a primer to make the red color to be more bright.
