We call it fluffing the carnations when you brush them open. Never seen the painting of the green carnnations to make them look like a mini hydrangea....really cool! Tfs.😊

Hello....I'm from Australia AND although have been doing (artificial flowers) for our Church (fresh have become soooo expensive) and with 6 Parishes every week became too much, sooooo thats why I enjoy your presentations for ideas.There is one question I would like to ask please """in an arrangement do ""small flowers...buds...etc alway go to the top of the arrangement and also used as fill ins.???(Mind you I'm NOT professional...just learning as I go along)For I have used the tall ones and then the small flowers and buds right on the bottom only. I like your presentations and your a charming lady as well. Thank you.

Oh thank you so much!! And great question! If the stems are long on the buds, I will keep them tall in an arrangement to give it some extra height. But the buds and small flowers work great as fillers as well! So it is whatever works for your arrangement. I do both!
