I think this is a perfect example. Pretty straight forward but makes a HUGE difference in the appearance of the kit.

Quick and short transmission of information paired with good visuals. That was very useful and easy digestible, would love to see more of those. If I may add one point of suggestion: would you mind consider adding information on what chisel/engraver thickness you use? That would be neat :)

Thank you. I really do want the tutorial series to be as compressed as possible while still be informative (hopefully). Yes, definitely I could do that. In fact, I used to do that but I worry that it would be too much of a constraint in terms of adding a certain details. For example, a light switch notch can be achieved with 0.5mm or even a 1mm. But I guess it's more beneficial to include that bit of information.

The fact that you're left-handed helps us viewers a lot, because we can see where the tools go. BTW, are you a teacher or familiar with giving talk? You presentation is really fluent.

I'd love to see more of your ideas and ways you would go about scribing new lines on a Zeon mobile suit. Gundam and non Gundam ms tend to favor differnet styles of panel lines, and odd end details.

Nice video! I just built my first hi plate model and have been looking for scribing videos like this. I know how to scribe I just don’t know what patters or design will look good. Endless pencil tests.

So did you scribe right before the end of the curved part?
@GunplaNewbie
@GunplaNewbie 3 жыл бұрын
Not sure if you meant the corners of the rectangle surface. I tend to scribe as close to the edges as possible and then link the lines together to form the corners. If I over scribe I could just fill them up with putty or lacquer paste...

Yo bro, i want to ask, is my steps is right? Snapbuild > disassemble (sanding scribing ) > priming > check surface > disassemble again > paint Thank you
@GunplaNewbie
@GunplaNewbie 3 жыл бұрын
Hey bro, that sounds about right. However, I personally don't assemble the kit after priming/surface checks. Most of the time, I do so for the video or photos lol. If it's not too tedious for you, then go ahead and assemble the primed parts just to check fitting. I check my fitting when I'm snapbuilding the kit. I try my best to identify tight parts in the process. I hope it's clear :D

@@GunplaNewbie ooo okay 🤣 i thought that after prime, need to assemble again 😅 aight.. thanks.. recently i been practicing painting.. but failed because i snapped leg joint.. so demotivated haha

Oh no...I hope you're able to fix it....regarding assembling after priming, a lot of people does that I just don't ( malas la haha) but you could do that if you want :D
