I love how the paint almost looks a little minty in the light you have, it looks very industrial. Imagine if this was implemented into Sodor’s lore, he might work in the mine and Ffarquhar Quarry or the coal mine seen in Put Upon Percy. Love this one!

This was amazing! I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again, Percy’s goggles make him very unique compared to other models. I’m currently looking for a OO scale GWR 1361 0-6-0 to chop up and make into a 0-4-0. My personal cannon is that Percy was a rebuilt 1361.

Perfect set up for a down the mines Thomas. Done up with maybe goggles? But also Percy’s mine mishap as well as thomas’ mine mishap one gets buried the other falls down a sink hole. Both grimy/dirty I think it’d look pretty great

Doin whatever you wanna do is pretty based ngl. Pug Percy looks pretty sick with the goggles to, reminds me of billy shoepack for whatever reason lol. If I had the chance to do my own thing and make my own model of a Thomas character, I think I’d use a N7 or some other four wheeled tank engine for thomas.

the pug started from Dapol in fact. later on, Hornby bought the rights and the tooling for it. though the pug they sell atm is alot more expensive and very little differences between the dapol one, your percy one and the latest version of it

If you want to make your Percy that little more industrial-like, mind I subject painting the rods in red. My custom OO Percy, built from a custom 3D-printed body on a Hornby L&YR Pug chassis, features red rods as I thought it would look nice.
