this is a really smart and easy way of doing wheel swaps - but how does the old/original wheels turn out after getting a soldering iron on it? are they still usable? I would like to reuse most of the wheels i take off my cars
@MuncleMikesCustoms3 жыл бұрын
If you burn them off they're toast... 2 wheels from each car so if you want you can collect them from 2 cars or a set

Hello. i have a doubt. The glue that you use gets dry faster? Because i use a glue that gets dry in 10 seconds and i dont know exactly how many glue to use. I see that you use the glue directly on the wheel and in orher videos they put the glue on the axl.. so which way is better? If i want that the wheels still runing good which method is supposed to be the best? Glue directly to the wheel or directly to the axl? Thanks and good video.

So your method for wheel swaps basically make the OG Hot Wheels factory wheels unusable! You're melting away the portion of the one side that deems it useless. I don't understand why you just don't snip the inside of the axle that way you can keep the stock wheels and then do your method with the replacement wheels. You can buy flush cutters that are small enough to get in those tight spaces. Those Steelies that came off the '32 would look great on a truck a more modern truck.
@MuncleMikesCustoms3 жыл бұрын
Because the stock wheels are worthless. If you cut the axles like you want they're unusable. Plus you cant "snip the inside" it's too close ... Thanks for the reply tho

@@MuncleMikesCustoms The wheels are still usable after the axles have been snipped. I have a flush cutter that will get in behind the wheels and cut them no problem. Making new axles is easy.
