Damn. Awesome work! Very cool to see such nice projects come to life from customers that have the funds to do such things. I got the space, one day I'll have such a nice backyard environment. Just prob gonna do most of the work myself.

These are all fabulous! You've got such good design in each transformation. I love the use of water fall features coming into the hot tub giving it such a lovely natural appearance. Also I especially like the way you've finished the spa hot tub destination with perfect coloured lighting. It really makes the scene look magical. Oh, I can only but wish when I see these magnificent garden features...... I really enjoyed your video. Thank you.

Thank you kazrikt - your expressions are genuine and we appreciate them. I've always loved water features. They were my initial go-to when I started making over backyards many years ago. (so many years ago!) Love the sounds, the serenity, and the natural element they bring to a backyard. I appreciate your viewpoint & for watching my channel.

These are just awesome! I wish you were closer. Do you just do designs that I could have a local contracter build here in NOrthern Califonia?

This is the first hot tub I've seen with a waterfall. How do you manage heat loss, evaporation, and covering to minimize detritus collection? Do you turn off the waterfall and cover the tub surface when it's not in use?

We faked it to make it look like it was connected to the Hot Tub. Only the last fall is hot tub water. Hope that helps

Beautiful and inspirational designs! How deep can you make an in-ground hot tub? We would like to use it year round, but still have a section of it (or perhaps the middle) be deep enough to do stand up "therapy"...say 60" water depth. Have you ever designed anything like that?

I have not done any custom spas like that..... Although it would be very easy to do. Go for it 🤪

We have again tonight Spa completely lined in tile. But we put it under cover, because with the UV index in Southern California and exposure sitting out there during the daytime we didn't want the harmful sun rays creating more cancer. Everybody is worried about being in their pool with sun screen and skin cancer from Sun. Also we like to have a spa closer to the house, for security purposes so if the women are in it or if the children we can hear them and see them. If you put them too far out in the yard, tragedy can happen and also animals seem to get in in and around the pools very easily. Another thing to think about we have our spa on ground level with no raised feature so the seniors can get into it without falling. We even have a couple of grab bars In the spa and around the spa so in case the seniors have a slip and fall accident they have a handrail to hold them. You see a lot of these Spas out in Palm Springs California that's where we got a lot of our ideas. We've even put up some vinyl curtains, to keep the wind in the cold out and when they fall apart will probably put up some glass Shields up so we can enjoy it in our senior in handicap lives. if you called then fire department they'll tell you they have a lot of calls on older people trying to get out of the jacuzzi, they're heavy and they don't have a lot of energy To begin with and then being relaxed it's hard to get out of the pool without falling. I think your lights are fantastic, you can never have enough garden lights.

What would the guts and concrete cost for a 10 by ten be about in cost? Maybe I can do it for the price of a regular one. ?? I have the labor for free.
@BackyardDesignGuy4 жыл бұрын
Sorry, you would need to check with a local contractor. Each market has different pricing. I hope this helps.
