Dave, like the sub box idea but pretty sure you'll need a port or vent to allow the speaker cone to move, box size is governed by the bass unit size as is the vent size as the air movement in the box is used to dampen the speaker cones movement, having a sealed box filled with wadding won't work too well. The vent can be on the front face and usually will have a short length of pre determined diameter tube to allow correct air movement.. and yes, I was once an apprentice sound engineer 👍🔊

Oh my days Mr. Mahker, I don’t have enough words to describe the great work you lot come up with - the Mog is epic, love those Recaro’s (although I prefer Scheelmann’s personally), Cagney is looking lovely if a little OTT for my utilitarian tastes, Having just done over 600 miles in my Wolf recently I’m starting to feel the attraction of automatic BMW 6, but just can’t square the circle of an electronic brain need? Your own personal Series III should be a thing of beauty I expect Dave, can’t wait to see that project progress - Pointless me having a sub-woofer enclosure, I can’t even hear myself think above 50 - Of everything you’ve done (so far), my favourite is still the Dirty 130. ❤ Mahker.

Great stuff - as ever. Love Merc's - unfortunately so do the tin-worms! Restoring my '98 Vario bus at the moment, just found a huge ding in the roof FULL of cheap filler that has encourage rot - happy daze!

Great work as usual, could you cover how you would go about protecting a new galv chassis? Is it the same process as for a refurb? Thanks

I've always had a question on the defender rear seat posture which no one has been able to address. Now, you'll notice that the rear seat passengers aren't able to slide their feet under the driver or passenger seat as there's an obstruction bar that runs across the lower end of the 'B' pillar. Is it possible to cut off the the obstruction as to allow better leg room especially for the taller passengers? I've not seen anyone do this.
