These are all *electric* and should have no fuel tanks & exhaust pipes. Standardized integrated single-stick load controls in my world that I made up: fwd/back = lift, L/R = tilt, twist = fork spacing, thumb button = fork L/R shift. I don't know if F/R drive is a floor toggle or too small to model at this scale.

JANGBRiCKS i love them

Coming from a PIT driver at a Homegood's warehouse. F/R is normally on the stick, at least on a standup PIT. Up and down is on the stick as well with steering being on a handle towards the 'Back' of the lift. (Opposite of the Forks.) And with ours funnily enough, the fork spacing you have to do yourself by moving the pin along the bottom of the mast. Side shift left/right is on the thumb button and angling of the forks are also on the thumb button (Top and bottom above and below the side shift toggle)

suggestion for the biggest forklifter at the end: the backside can be covered with a hinge piece at the top and some plates/tiles facing to the back

Never knew Lego forklifts could be so satisfying to look at.

Amazing job Jang, I'm currently working in the field of logistics and you nailed the 3 main types of forklifts that I'm most familiar with. I can't wait to see whats next.

My son and I just discovered your channel. We’re hugely impressed by your imagination and skill. We both enjoy building Lego sets together and agree that while we will never achieve a Lego super city like yours, we will customise our Lego city sets using your ideas as inspiration. Lego fire station is going to be our first custom build 🚒 Thank you for your videos 👍🏻

My favorite "official" forklift so far is the one from the Batman v. Superman set; I made a simple modification to replace the flick-fire missiles with those little blue pieces that fit in a technic hole and have a stud on the end, turning the "missiles" into headlights. Debating whether I want to take off the Lexcorp logo stickers off or not; I kind of like the reference actually.
@Gruizux6 жыл бұрын
I have that set, i use the missiles as headlights too, but i don't like when you put a minifigure in it it has no studs so it doesn't stay on very much. My favorite part of the set is the Batmobile.

I especially like the yellow three-wheeled forklift. It reminds me of the units that we used to have back in the warehouse I worked in years ago.

Love these builds.... nice to see forklifts that are not catapults of mass destruction... Also... I think there are a couple of white rubber tires out there.. they would help you for warehouses too..

Hey Jang, I think it would be cool if you had a museum in your city. Exhibits could show some of your more rare or older LEGO pieces, white hands and heads can make mannequins, or you could have an Indiana Jones-like back

The white and blue really works with your harbor since some of the cargo ships use that color scheme. (Blue for the boat hull, white for the superstructure)

this is kinda unrelated, but jang have you thought of making a Hatshop in the underground area, there's so many lego hats and i bet you have a bunch, figures wear a bunch so surely there's a Hat shop somewhere :D
@repapeti986 жыл бұрын
I really like all 3 of these builds! For the smallest one, why don't you use a black horn piece attached to a 1x1 gray/black round plate with a pin hole? That would form a nice joystick.
@marcch726 жыл бұрын
Great designs for these forklifts. However I think the smallest one would look better as a sideways driven vehicle just like a reach truck
