I thank you very much! I've seen a few different solutions for the legs, I just kind of wanted to go with one that I hadn't quite seen yet? I'm sure other people have done it though. I'm working on another one right now! This one has a lot more customization going into it, and quite a bit of paint which is the step I'm on right now. I hope to have him finished up and posted as soon as possible! Stay tuned, there will be plenty more. I've got a whole box full of customs that are either nearly finished or actually finished or still in bags that are just parts that need to be assembled but still, there are plenty more to come!!

Loves these. I would wonder if you thought of filming you making it and talking over as a B role to see how to do the actual custom. Just a thought. Would be good to see you make some of these. Some of the customs I know I’m link ummm how did he do that so I can follow the steps

Oh I've definitely thought about it. Some of the past custom videos I've done are shot that way. It all really just depends on when I get the time to put one of these together and sometimes filming that process just isn't very feasible. some of the steps also take quite a while so it's kind of frustrating trying to figure out what to film and what not to film. I do have a couple other ones that are already made so they won't show the steps, but for future figures, I will try to film as much of it as I can during the process. I've got one coming up where I can show a lot of the painting for it. I can also try to make some graphics to sort of show the process in the future as well. I found out while I started making those Lego videos after being inspired by Toast's, it is so awkward to film and work at the same time haha!!

It looks great. I may try this with the dr fate helmeted Wonderwoman. I’d want to make her hair lighter blonde. One little error. You said Dr strange not Dr fate helmet. You aren’t a big fan of soft goods capes/skirts? I’ve seen another customizer give her a soft good skirt.

As for the skirt, I'm just going to leave it as it is. the pelvis underneath is kind of a mess, compared to other pelvises on McFarlane figures. I would probably have to replace the whole thing knowing me. I don't really want to do that much work on it when they when it came with looks fine in my opinion. typically though at this scale, unless I can make something that looks right or if there's something out there that looks fine, I don't like soft good stuff because it just never looks good. For me, once you get smaller than 1/6 scale, you just start to lose a lot of the realism that the cloth stuff gives because it's just way too thick, the stitches are way too humongous and obvious, things like buttons and snaps never look right... Obviously just my opinions and my experience, but that's just the way I wanted to go. I will eventually need another Supergirl for another custom I have coming up, but I don't need the torso or the skirt from it, so maybe I can experiment and see what I can come up with. But I'll probably just leave it the plastic version.

well, that's up to you. I made it very clear in this video that I think the head looks just fine, and personally I think anyone who thinks it looks like Michael Jackson has never actually seen Michael jackson, or is legally blind. I'm sorry but it does not look like Michael jackson. Look up photos of Vanna White from the '80s and '90s, and you will see who they base that head off of. She's the hostess on wheel of fortune. And the Supergirl head looks exactly like her. this whole Michael Jackson thing is a joke made by someone who had no idea what they were talking about and other people just keep repeating it for no reason and I don't know why.

What you say is correct, when you have the figure in hand, the feeling of whether or not it looks like the character must be different. I don't have the figure yet, I'm about to buy it. The joke is just that, a joke. I guess when I see it in person, I'll be able to appreciate what you're saying. But seeing several reviews on KZbin, I don't know, there are opinions for and against this. But my figure is arriving, in a few days. Plus I worry if I don't like the face of this new supergirl, I have to look at my DC ICONS supergirl every day with that beautiful vintage face. Greetings @@VoidCityReviews

@@tech_advisorperu2011 for anything involving face sculpts, I always reserve judgment until I have seen the figure in person in hand. Always remember, McFarlane photographers are absolutely terrible at their jobs. They very often make the figures look far worse than they actually look. Part of me thinks it's on purpose so that when you see the real figure in hand it looks way better and then you're more likely to buy it. It's almost like reverse psychology and subliminal suggestion mixed together? either way though, I can assure you that in hand, her head sculpt and face paint look far better than any of the washed out photographs they've shown. Way better. and absolutely nothing about it other than the fact that it is a human head with eyes and a nose and a mouth, resembles Michael Jackson in any way. 😂😂

I know you were joking by the way, it's just a little bit triggering at this point I guess, I've seen it spoken seriously by people who fully believe it who have never actually seen this figure in person but love to repeat negative things about the line in general just because.

Not a fan of the crop top it looks so so tacky and trailer trash. It’s not a good look, I dunno why everyone has done this, her top is always a full top. The legs are nice

Her top ISN'T always a full top unless you ignore significant parts of her history. Your personal taste in women's clothing and your perceptions on what makes them "tacky or trailer trash" have been noted, though are also incorrect and misinformed, for a number of reasons, most notably your own follow up of "the legs are nice," which in itself is a contradiction of your own previous point. To each their own, though, I suppose. 🤷🏼
