great video man. ive been looking for other people doing stuff like this for my favorite nintendo handheld, the ds lite. I'm thinking I would do something like this, as well as sand down parts on the outside and adding some cricut vinyls for custom designs on the shells. its hard to find content of other people doing similar things. but I suppose that is good for me if I do figure it out. thanks!

Thanks for watching! The DS can be a tricky console to work on but there is plenty of customisation that can be done too, so have fun!

I bought a few ds lites and i would love to spray paint and customize it. I'm a complete beginner tho so when it comes to dissembling electronics- it seems scaryyy ( not sure if I'm really gonna do it because i dont trust myself or have the proper equipment)! But im glad i came across your channel!

I definitely don’t recommend working on ds lites if you’re still a bit new with repairs and things, however I did manage to do a reshell on my first ds lite when I was a newbie and it all went pretty smooth. As long as you have a decent tutorial to follow, you should be good! Thank you!

Old paint on the old Shell for Ds lite is in bad shape however it's in good condition.
